It's a sad reflection of U.K. appreciation of ARB, and tech in general, that the OTC tail is now wagging the LSE dog.Yanks will be buying at 2 dollars and we get another gap up and price monitoring extension in the morning.

mciw think its always useful to evaluate against competitors, but i think you have to try and do it on a like for like basis ie future capacity is not current capacity.

and so you would think that ARGO will be looking to buy many more miners utilising profits they are making now..(not having to do raises which MARA had to) and off the back of that and increased MCAP, will continue to purchase either via profits or capital raise when the MCAP is substancially higher

Its a case of do you invest the company making the cash now, or the one that will/maybe given that the MCAP already reflects that future capacity

They don't get that extra capacity until October! ARB will outmine until then.It's an absolute given that peter will announce an aggressive capacity expansion by end Q1. He could say he's doubling capacity through our lease deal. What will the share price do on that day? Double?

I'm at 200kPlus In next 6 months So you would be confident of 10pds at that level even if Argo took advantage of this rise at some stage to raise some money ? Must be some chance as they changed broker but who knows if they need it or not Irrelevant I know as 10m shares is 2 hours volume !! Lol10 pounds I can't see as we will mine less coins but hey ho like the conviction !!

MARA will have 10x capacity of ARB.

I think the key is that the market is pricing MARA / RIOT future capacity, ARB doesn't have this path at present, they have also tied in a large % of machines available, making it difficult for others to expand so aggressively.

Riot's MCap is over a billion currently. 100k is approx a tripling of BTC. If you triple the MCap you get 3Bn, but Of course gearing makes the profit increase non-linear. So let's say 5Bn?Then add in that compared to Riot, ARB will have higher hash power at least until October, and has MUCH higher mining efficiency. Then add in that it's about the only crypto exposure now available to U.K. investors.Add in a bit more for crypto FOMO, and an overshoot to the upside on valuationThen add we announce doubling of mining capacity through organic expansion

I think even at btc 100k would be difficult to justify a near £3bn mkt cap, even with Feb ramp in machines, mining difficulty rising means the number mined wouldn't just rise in proportion to machine expansion. Of course btc could blow through 100k and a silly pe could occur but we are limited by current capacity, an announcement on increased capacity would change this especially when mining equipment is hard to come by

Not really, it just opens the shares up to a larger market. Shares in issue haven't changed.

If I had time (sorry full time job), you could work out how many shares had been removed from the LSE free float to likely stay forever in the US. They are unlikely to come across the pond IMO. Recently 10-20mil a day, only 293mil in issue...

it’s like a massive unregulated share buy back.

Deadly! Just look at the numbers.This is so easy to value. The only subjective factor is the PE you want to apply, and for that I just look to our sector peers. If BTC is 100k ARB will be circa ten squid.Take the 288k S2F I won't say what ARG would be as you'd just laugh. Well unless you'd already sold out, in which case you'd sob!
