If its ok, would love one more discount sale on ARB to buy back the shares I now regret selling ... what a ride this year has been. Did not envisage 17.5p when was buying these at 3p odd nursing a paper loss in March ...

The other scenario is that 27k then opens up 40k and THEN we get our pullback. Problem with that is that even a 30% pullback only puts you back at 27K - although of course with a MUCH safer long term entry.

Ive got 23850 set up as early warning on a breakout. At least I'll have something to do over Xmas apart from the Star Wars marathon I've promised the kids!

It's going to be a big old day either way on Tuesday I think.

There is almost certainly going to be a decisive move in the BTC market of the long Xmas weekend and the mining shares will catch up either way when the markets open.

Hope it goes our way!

I like that. A little BTC dump after 12:30 on the 24th Dec before full recovery at midnight on the 27th Dec. :)

This is the 5th consecutive day we've hit 24k and sold off. We're still above the daily trend line around 22k. Which level will give? Should be a powerful move either way....

If I was going to pick an ARB friendly time for BTC to have a good flush down it would be over xmas with the main markets closed.

Be an interesting quandary if you had shares in the float. I've been in that position a couple of times and its tricky weighing up if you should just get out breakeven, or because the share has embarked on a significant bull run, it would be best to hold on. I used to think that if you can find a proper reason for the bull run, then its best to hold on, but if you think you've just been lucky, then sell out. But had mixed results from that.

Oh, it's definitely a case of example making! Just a question of whether they intend to see it through.

SNF The slap on the wrist would certainly be the case if it were a ‘crime’ by Goldman/JPM... But I wonder whether they may have ‘chosen’ XRP as an example.

Still seems relatively orderly - still waiting for the Cappucino top...

The trouble with the XRP scenario is that the legal stuff is likely to take ages, meanwhile no one is going to have enough confidence to buy.

Gspanner - my thinking is they'll do a deal with the SEC, pay a fine, get a slapped wrist and then xrp flies up!

People say the market can be irrational longer than you can stay solvent, but that also applies upwards at times.
