regarding the mining difficulty it varies - have a little read of the original BTC whitepaper.



page 3 - search for 'difficulty'

To compensate for increasing hardware speed and varying interest in running nodes over time, the proof-of-work difficulty is determined by a moving average targeting an average number of blocks per hour. If they're generated too fast, the difficulty increases

Yes, if they can achieve 150/160 @ $11750 average then the monthly figures will be over to $2m.

Very interesting company. As I said, i cant say I understand how it all works, why mining becomes more difficult, and how they actually mine. I may ask a spotty teenager to explain.

Looks like they just need to confirm Sep was a blip when they release Oct numbers. I just saw it being reported in the wider media that transaction fees were up over 500% past 12 days. That should help a bit too with the margins. If they are anything like Aug, increased for the higher BTC price my guess is that this share would trade a good bit higher. Not long to wait to find out.

What caused the difficulty in mining in September? Is this likely to be reoccurring problem or now corrected ?

Just taken a smallish 75k shares today. Not only do ARB look like a very viable business with growing income they are looking like they are mining the right materials. BTC seems like a great hedge against the rest of the market.

Great to include something like this in the PF at this time.

Renewables, PMs and BTC (or at least a correlated stock)
