25/3/2020 12:40 | Horneblower, I agree that the obsolescence of these single use computers is either 3 years or a timescale related to the price of BTC and the economies of mining it which is not workable to any accounting standards. That being said, if we just accept that there is cash being generated and pray that some of it comes back to investors opposed to buying more machines as a "job for the boys" scheme - then there is a short term case here. If Hotzah's and Tpaz's predictions of $20k plus bitcoin happens then maybe it will be a right result but I am not holding my breath. | ![]() roddyb
25/3/2020 10:34 | SI, I don't know of any other use for having that amount of computing power divided by so many machines. The big users of computing power (like weather modellers) use completely different architecture. Also, I believe ARG's depreciation method for their computers is optimistic. | ![]() horneblower
25/3/2020 10:30 | Bitcoin seems to be moving in line with gold at present. I guess this reflects the general consensus towards holding fiat (non-USD). | ![]() brasso3
25/3/2020 10:24 | I jumped on at 3.12p (odd number?) - I make sure I don't listen to Topaz-the-ramper, he was telling people to bet-the-farm at 7p and anyone who doesn't agree with him is stupid? As the share price has tanked since his divine pronunciations - I can only assume he thinks he is the only sane person in a mad market. I await his "informed" estimations on MNOMIS's challenge as he has produced nothing so far despite trolling others. His favourite dinosaur | ![]() roddyb
25/3/2020 10:06 | I have a large holding here having gone big at 2.82 and 3.6 yesterday. Lag to BTC is intriguing, not unusual over last 18months. People want BTC slightly more stable, but hopefully shoot up before halving event. Question. What do people believe cash position is for ARB to compare vs current market cap? Also, if bitcoin in he future had any issues, making mining pointless, can thr 17000 machines do anything else worthwhile, ie any resale value? For today I cant see anyway it stays at current price! Good luck | ![]() savvy investor

25/3/2020 07:57 | Feb actual figures fwiw: 1. BTC equiv. 337.5 2. Rev (£) 2,540,000 3. GP (£) 1,270,000 (50% margin) | mnomis
25/3/2020 07:53 | So, rather than spouting rubbish, how about all the experts provide 3 estimates for March by end of week. 1. BTC equivalent mined 2. Revenue (in GBP) 3. Gross profit (in GBP) (and hence your mining margin). Closest has bragging rights for the following month. | mnomis
25/3/2020 07:11 | @ Topaz - stick to the facts. Avoid mindless ramping - guarantees of 50p etc. Close to blocking you. No need to post what you want to happen. Post something useful. Thanks. GLA. | mnomis
