10/2/2020 06:33 | It was too high anyway. Needed a period of consolidation/fall a way. Still above the bull run support line which is the important thing | scottman72
10/2/2020 06:28 | It hasn't held $10k unfortunately. | hootza616
09/2/2020 23:58 | This will be headed back to 10p if BTC holds at/above this level. | scotty666
09/2/2020 22:02 | Agreed, just over 300. If the same for March then Q1 should be about 850-880 BTC. So roughly $8.5m - $9m revenue for Q1 alone. But the market will be pricing in not just revenue, but profits post halving. Currently, mining profits could be about $2.5m per quarter based on $10k BTC and current hashrates. But this will likely reduce. | scottman72
09/2/2020 21:52 | I estimate 300 - 325 BTC for Feb | orm5
09/2/2020 21:02 | BTC productions Q3 2019 : 428 Q4 2019 : 432 Jan 2020 : 247 FEB 2020? | 338
09/2/2020 16:20 | For all the complexity, forced selling by western, failing treasuries et al, BTC is looking secure for the coming weeks to hold this $10k level and beyond. Sadly, whatever or whoever has powerful influence over the ARB share price, the IPO is a distant 16p memory. My gut feeling is that at $12-15000 BTC level, ARB will be driven down to 4p by this negative sentiment or plot! Just kidding. | 1new guy
09/2/2020 14:20 | Parsons4, not just the list that most don’t understand w.r.t BTC but the additional complexity for a mining share like ARB. It’s an additional level of complexity to make the company work. | scottman72
09/2/2020 14:17 | Most miss that the main area for growth will be through fund raising through the issuing of shares to purchase more machines. The best way to generate share price growth. But it has to be done at the right time. Which hopefully won’t be too far away. | scottman72
09/2/2020 12:23 | I like the gold metaphor, re the mining, demand, supply, who has the most efficient machines etc. Halving is a bit like having a gold digger and then suddenly it will only scoop half the amount of gold when it does find it. So your machine payback is suddenly twice as long. But not if you've paid it back really fast already. The virtual bit I'm sure is the bit that confuses - it certainly threw me until I thought about gold. | yump
09/2/2020 12:15 | They do seem to have got things right lately and as people have said earlier with BTC rising somebody has to make money. Don't forget the options that were awarded just this week. They must now believe that the connecting all the additional machines and the steep rise in BTC means that profitability is now assured !!!! Scotman72 you are just listing all the points that most don't understand. Time will tell, I for one am still fully invested here. The only reasonably sensible way to play BTC IMHO | parsons4
09/2/2020 11:22 | e.g.4 whether they use profit to buy more machines ad infinitum, or return money as a divi and be out of business in 3 years when the machines are no longer commercially viable. The answer to this conundrum would be to pay a nice 10% dividend and with the remainder of spare cash reinvest in new antminers. Everyone's a winner, like Barrymore used to say. | purplepelmets

09/2/2020 10:35 | Examples of the complication? | 338
09/2/2020 09:38 | I think with arb there is a complication, in that its significantly more difficult to understand than just investing in bitcoin directly. | yump
09/2/2020 07:57 | I think many are waiting for the tide to finally turn before jumping in.Bitcoin sustainably over 10 is the milestone. Could see plenty buying this week. | richardjohn10
09/2/2020 07:55 | Just think while the coronavirus and the tropical storm causes all sorts of problems and grief worldwide, and in the UK, those machines are running at this moment. They are churning out BTC's and being converted to dollars at ever higher rates, what's not to like about ARB I do however feel very sorry for those who are locked in Wuhan or have travel plans in the UK. I for one am staying indoors today apart from maybe walking my wonderful 5 month old German Shephard called Luca around the block !!!! GLA | parsons4
09/2/2020 06:33 | Sorry, make that 10.1 k LOL | scottman72
09/2/2020 06:32 | It’s 10k now ;) | scottman72
08/2/2020 22:02 | Let's hope BTC > $10k on Monday and ARB is traded at 2 digits of penny again | 338
