04/3/2020 07:41 | from the rns "Argo generated this income at a mining margin of 50% and the Company continues to consider its operations to be among the most efficient in the market." | global nomad
04/3/2020 07:36 | Parob we don't know exactly what the margin rate is ? Said to be around 30-35% | john henry
04/3/2020 07:20 | £2.54M revenue in a month at a margin of 50% and the market cap is just £16M.Perhaps this RNS will start a rerate. | parob

04/3/2020 06:47 | Although I'm bullish long term BTC it cannot handle much in the way of transaction. You right about the 2/3 days for visa to clear but thats because the powers be want it that way. There has been talk of making it same day but it's just talk. Ether on the other hand can deal with more transactions and has gone up over 100% this year. More fortune 500 co. Involved with Ether | chilly0
03/3/2020 22:37 | VISA processes a daily peak of 4000 a second, PayPal around 115.BTC transaction rate is restricted to 7 transactions per second so we won't ever be using BTC to buy pizzas or stuff from Amazon, etc.Not sure what transactions take a day, unless your talking about international bank transfers? | hootza616
03/3/2020 22:20 | Most Normal currencies take 2 days to transfer. Possibly less than 1 for some transaction. BTC is there almost straight away. So how is it not fast enough???? | scottman72
03/3/2020 18:51 | There's never been much take up in gold for "normal transactions". If you don't consider BTC a store of wealth like gold then it's not for you. It cannot be used as a normal currency because the transaction rate is far too slow. About as quick as you can trade a ton of gold me thinks. | hootza616
03/3/2020 14:45 | With this you buy and shut up or just find something else to do, crypto is not a normal investment | topazfrenzy
03/3/2020 14:44 | so why are you still interested in BTC so many time wasters on this board who haven't got a clue | topazfrenzy
03/3/2020 14:15 | I suspect a more (not necessarily most) likely scenario is it just fizzles out through lack of real traction. I thought someone had posted here a few weeks ago that there was little sign of growth in take-up in BTC for normal transactions. Apologies if I'm mistaken. | sf5
03/3/2020 12:43 | 25% Bitcoin surge getting close ... followed by the start of a huge rally over the coming months, getting to $65,000+ by Xmas | topazfrenzy
03/3/2020 12:40 | Roddy, I'm not ramping Buy! | topazfrenzy
03/3/2020 11:00 | Not sure bitcoin or crypto has been going long enough to turn it into a safe haven asset, rather than just a trading opportunity. Plus, if it ends up working like gold, you buy it when it looks low and wait a long time (unless you're lucky) for it to appreciate. | yump
03/3/2020 08:50 | From CoinDesk.com yesterday: "Despite a belief among some investors that bitcoin should trade as a safe-haven asset akin to gold or U.S. Treasury bonds, the cryptocurrency had tumbled recently along with riskier assets like stocks. The sell-off reversed as global authorities, including the Fed, Bank of Japan, International Monetary Fund and World Bank, pledged to act if needed to help offset any lasting economic damage from widespread travel cancellations, quarantines and factory disruptions. " | sf5
02/3/2020 11:15 | Bitcoin cannot catch corona nor can the mining machines BUY | topazfrenzy
02/3/2020 10:19 | Time will tell. Think a bigger chance that this correction turns into a bear market than usual, but still could recover and go higher ... | mnomis
01/3/2020 08:29 | I fear that the fear hasn't even started! The dow still hasn't broken it's medium term uptrend yet. That is likely to happen this coming week. Then we'll get some excitement. | horneblower
01/3/2020 07:58 | "Be fearful when others are greedy and greedy when others are fearful." Bargains out there if you have funds. | hootza616
29/2/2020 13:47 | If you have some food and water and a good book to read, you not too worried about how long you have to wait up the tree ... | mnomis |
