There's all sorts of clever stuff written about market sell-offs, but every time they happen they are indiscriminate, because its fear that drives them.

If you're surrounded by a pack of dogs, you just go up the tree and wait for help, you don't try to guess which is the least dangerous to run past.

Primarily mining digital Bitcoin but also a little Equihash.

Stated that they were lucky to have used capital to buy hardware at the start of a more efficient cycle and want to be at the front of future releases of more efficient machines (note, new release happened this week).

On halving, expecting a decline in the mining difficulty. A number of legacy machines will be unprofitable to run with a general expectation of 15-40% reduction in difficulty. But ARB looking at a more conservative 20% reduction. ARB will still be generating positive cash-flow post halving. Expect Bitcoin this to continue to grow and believe bitcoin will be here in the long term. Still in the very early days of its life cycle so get on the train now.

Looking at selling bitcoin on a daily/weekly basis. ARB try and look at the major trends and manage funds around these (so presumably hodling at the moment whilst low).

After 17,000 machines looking at options and decisions based on market conditions. Deciding between re-investment and return to shareholders. Trying to be aggressive but also smart as to how and when to reinvest.

Can't understand how BTC can be any more risky than 3 months ago? Mining crypto in the wilds of Canada must be somewhat immune to a virus even if the whole world gets it! Which in my view is inevitable.

This could now be seen as a safe haven stock with this virus thing, hardly any staff, machines doing the work, isolated in Canada, no debt, a money printing operation just about ..

I'll be adding tomorrow, Bitcoin is the only global safe haven, buy or die.

If you want to cash in on the coronavirus in UK, you could buy Dignity? They seem like the only bluey on my UK list today.

immune to the coronavirus but not immune to the escalating difficulty rate. Those posts saying Buy, Buy, Buy look a bit odd now?

Time for another punt . .I think I will get 5p. Let's see. Sadly for me nothing has changed with company in terms of setting our clearly how they are accounting, and what longer term investment opportunity this offers. It remains for me punt money.

This is probably one of the few companies immune to the Coronavirus, mining machines cannot catch it

I read that BTC has halved on two previous occasions. On both price fell into the halving and rose afterwards. Not a big sample, but we don't have enough history of BTC to give us big sample size.

you cannot time the mkts exactly and 5.7p was fair.

Sold out last week at over 7p. Would be pleased to buy back at below 6p. I have decided that small gains only are likely here.

Back buying today. Think we might see below 5p if the mkts continue to tank. Remember this was just 3p a year ago so nothing can be taken for granted.

Big drop today ... picked up some more (as I have been selling out of a lot of other things). See this as a hopefully uncorrelated asset, but who knows. Per my trusty BTC calculator, all is good. Look forward to next operational update ...
