Hi Roddy, if I may....BTC has been widely predicted to drop to circa $6k before the rise back to $12k before halving, and then steady rise over 5 years to, well, some big numbers, any of which would do!It is also well known that ARB are one of the most efficient miners, so they will be one of the last still making a profit if BTC does fall further. This will consequently increase availability for to reduced mining across the net.Also, it has been calculated and not yet disputed that BTC would need to be below $2500 to be unprofitable for ARB. To add to this all profit predictions previously published have been based on $6500 BTC so for the last 6 months have been exceeding all value expectations. Happy to hear good arguments on these points, and let's try and keep this the politest thread on ADVFN!

Ref Argo Blockchain #ARB Attempting to add here at a near 20% discount to NAV. Looks to us as if current stock price is pricing in a #bitcoin price sub $3000, ie ARB's breakeven.

Hootza - what are you on about? BTC is tanking, the share price is tanking - there is a real possibility that we will, at this rate, quickly enter the period where it isn't profitable to mine...

Why would anyone buy this until the downward trend comes to an end?

Just had chance to look at the trades on Friday. Someone grabbed a cool 3 million shares at 5.7pWill be interesting to see how this reacts tomorrow to the $7k BTC price, assuming it's holding when the market opens!Personally think we are at bottom even if BTC goes to $6k, which has been widely predicted.GLA!

Been using ADVFN for years and this is the best thread and best company here! Updates regularly, not let us down, doesn't make promises it can't keep. And above all actually making a profit! How other so called "investment companies" can entice investors with promises that always end up in further fund raising to pay the owners wages I will never know!If it drops further I will be going all in, don't tell the wife!Where's Scotty and his tea leaves?We need his wise words!

Nope gap not closed. I guess other charts may have different readings but mine shows 17th low just shy of 11th open. I'm looking for the close of the 10th at 6294 to close. Other chart may have a different number. I'm a buyer at that level at least first position

This happened last month but bounced off $7.5k to $10kMy prediction is bounce off $6k to $15k this weekend!

There's a lot of merit in 6,000 but 4,000 also has its attractions.
The gap at c6,300 was already filled on 17th May.

Unfortunately, compounding the seed investors selling, are the sells from holders while Bitcoin falls. I think about 45m shares went to seed investors at 0.001p and so they should be done soon, at least 3/4 done, as they have been selling for 6 months or more. When Bitcoin recovers buyers will come back and the seed investors will have finished, hopefully. Obviously this might get taken out if it drops much further.

Couple of things to remark, that will affect daily moves in share price and does not include company specific news, and that is, when seller is done share price will rise and, Bitcoin looking oversold with the bounce from October low of 7300. When these two resolve themselves, which I hope will be soon, then Sp should go back to double digits.

It's at times like these investors either hold and become successful or burnt. It's all about studying the essentials and personal judgement. Bitcoin was slated to bottom at $7400 and then climb steadily much higher. I believe it will possibly flirt with $7.4 then break upwards, within two/three months. ARB is very well placed and nicely positioned to also rise. Not too big, good management and profitable as low as circa $3k. I admit to it being a nervous period but choose to hold for some time yet.

Bitcoin tanking today, looks like RSI and moving averages may be pointing lower, while ARB is itself testing support.
