Wimbledon finals expected to have full capacity crowds when they play next month, has to feed through to other events barring some unforeseen bombshell.

Mail Online this afternoon - 'Green light COVID passports? Fully vaccinated fans WILL be allowed to use NHS app to get into England's Euro matches starting with first game against Croatia on Sunday - but rest will still have to take a test to enter...' Only a matter of time before this extends to other events imo, both here and the US. probably quite quickly too now that ministers have broken cover admitting the' vaccination passport' concept domestically.

Not only that Dodger, but the US is opening faster than we are and the Aztec Shaffer sporting events portfolio will be getting back on its feet before the end of summer unless there is some catastrophic derailment of the Biden pandemic recovery efforts. Yesterday they announced:- The United States CDC=Center Desease Control Prevention announced that two weeks after vaccination, no need to wear masks indoors and outside except in public transportation. Stadia will be re-opening, golf and other outdoor sporting events. News should start to flow and that will kick start the share price (again).

The country is opening up. Arena still has a way to recover and with Boris announcing major loosening of restrictions from Monday in england and the rest of the U.K. following soon this surely is a bargain

Completion remains subject to, inter alia, the sale hearing at the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas on 12 April 2021.

Aztec Shaffer filed for Chapter 11 protection before Christmas estimated assets were between $10m - $50m, we don't know what they're paying as they haven't provided detail but they must see good value out there and want to take advantage at distress levels before a sector recovery gets underway. Placing price hardly discounted.

Sounds like niggle missed out, I'm in for the longer term also, not much downside risk on this as the events industry opens back up.

It’s never made a cent, and it won’t this year. Crazy bounce, overdone. It’s been in decline for 3 years.

They are well financed and have been smart with their cash. There should be a nice upward trend coming along as Event Organisers get to grips with implementing rapid testing. It's all good.

Should do it this time QS, might be a bit bumpy with govt indecision but peer pressure will force the issue, barring unforeseens as you say.

looks like industry probably now has line of sight to live events again IMO....so barring any new orrible mutations, ARE should start to see the benefit....GLA and have joined the ride today to 20p+!

Ministers saying up to employers and business owners to decide how they maintain safety at work or in premises where public are admitted but MUST comply with covid measures. Chester race course has said it intends to reopen for the summer season providing fast LFT testing at point of entry which it will pay for (not the customer), I think there will be a lot more of this and a combination of vaccine certs and fast LFTs will get live events open again albeit with reduced numbers.

My neighbours both in 80's went for vaccinations on Monday, a local health hub, not their regular GP, but one which they are familiar with, had grown a substantial annexe stretching out into the (public) car park. It could hold a lot of people including waiting if the weather was bad. Maybe we're involved in some of those.
