I think the final line of the RNS has got people's appetites going "We are finalising the airborne survey and geochem analysis and a further update is imminent."
re Anne Gloag - she bought in 3% at 3p ish;

Recent days upward movement very positive and the share price has just today moved above the 50day MA, signifying a golden cross of sorts. I reckon with production only days away and survey results just not far off too we could be in for a good run up to 4p and maybe 5p in coming months. Happy days...GLA

I'm in, self sustaining element of the cash flow to fund drilling is compelling and the resource looks very exciting. Serious hitters involved in this too, always a good sign. Not pick pockets like colin bird or david lenigas...

How is Ann Gloag involved ?

I've posted before about concern over the tax hikes in Zambia and how companies, notably First Quantum, were threatening to lay workers off. Now it seems things aren't that bad after all! Perhaps large miners were just trying to face down the Government. But these 3 stories point to a better looking picture:

There has been one or several consistent sellers which has been the case since we hit 5p. They still seem to be around . Breaking 3p would break the recent down trend

Arc Minerals has developed a habit of delivering since Nick took over !
The market seems very reluctant to recognise it

Arc Minerals Ltd

('Arc' or the 'Company')

Commercial Scale Demonstration Plant Update

Arc Minerals is pleased to provide an update on the Commercial Scale Demonstration plant ("the Plant") at its Zamsort Copper-Cobalt project in north western Zambia.

Over the past nine months the Company has made excellent progress with the construction of the Plant. During November 2018, the technical team completed the front end of the plant comprising the two crusher units, screens, a ball mill and conveyors. This section has been completed and successfully commissioned in December 2018 and has an initial capacity to process 10,000 tonnes per month. The back end of the plant is due to commission in the next week and initial production is scheduled to commence shortly thereafter.

The plant has a fully permitted renewable mining license through to 2025 and is fully funded through to initial production. Discussions are currently underway with a number of off-takers regarding future sales.

Nick von Schirnding, Executive Chairman of Arc Minerals commented:

"I am very pleased with the progress at our plant over the past year. We have been extremely disciplined in regards to our capex requirements and have met our targets of completing the plant on schedule and on budget. Since we came on board less than a year ago we have, for a relatively modest investment of under half a million dollars, now got a plant that is capable of producing copper/cobalt concentrates and generate future revenues for the group.

We are finalising the airborne survey and geochem analysis and a further update is imminent."

My gut feeling is there will be quite a lot of interest in ARC at the mining conference in Cape Town in early Feb. With Casa looking more secure after the elections and small scale mining production about to start at Kalaba this should be a very positive period going forward.

Looking forward to an update, ARCM has been quiet of late, but there’s potential for quite a bit of news in the next quarter. I was surprised when it went below 4p not to mention 3p, hopefully it will double from here on decent news.
