14/11/2018 10:47 | Really weak sellers everywhere at the moment. Another top up at 3.1! | 1savvyinvestor
14/11/2018 08:27 | Agreed these results look good, but bear in mind the last report we had was on 16th Oct, and we apparently have 3 drill rigs working day and night. Surely there must be more news than this? I can't help thinking NvS has a few more cards up his sleeve like one or more JVs, sales etc. But if so, he can't break the news during a conference call. Any thoughts? | bigboyblue
14/11/2018 08:04 | Just bought another 725k worth | 1savvyinvestor
14/11/2018 08:03 | This concentration on cobalt is very interesting. There is a huge shortage of supply world wide. | 1savvyinvestor

14/11/2018 07:20 | Arc Minerals Ltd / Epic: ARCM / Market: AIM / Sector: Mining & Exploration 14 November 2018 Arc Minerals Ltd ('Arc' or the 'Company') High Grade Cobalt results from shallow oxide drilling Arc Minerals is pleased to report reverse circulation drilling results from the oxide portion of its Kalaba Cobalt-Copper Project ("Zamsort"). These short holes were drilled to confirm the grade of the oxide material intended for processing through the Commercial Scale Demonstration plant ('CSD Plant' or the 'Plant'). Significantly higher cobalt grades up to 0.35% have been intersected together with copper grades up to 1.50%. Highlights: · Cobalt grades averaging over 0.20% over mineable widths · Mineralisation hosted in a saprolitic horizon that can be easily mined without the need for drilling and blasting · Low strip ratio to access the near surface ore Drilling intercept highlights include: · KGC003: 23m at 1.16% Cu Eq. from 2m o including from 13m; 10m at 0.81% Cu and 0.15% Co for 2.00% Cu Eq. o including from 17m; 4m @ 1.17% Cu and 0.22% Co for 2.90 Cu Eq. · KGC005: 16m at 1.28% Cu Eq. from 9m o including from 13m; 9m at 0.83% Cu and 0.11% Co for 1.74% Cu Eq. · KGC012: 15m at 1.29% Cu Eq. from 10m o Including from 14m; 6m at 0.51% Cu and 0.20% Co for 2.11% Cu Eq. Progress at the CSD Plant Commissioning of the plant is on track for December 2018. Given the prevalence of cobalt in the oxide ore, the plant is also being tested to ensure that the plant is able to maximise cobalt recovery and process a separate cobalt concentrate as well as a separate copper concentrate. Two cost efficient systems are being tested with encouraging early results. A further update will be provided once a decision is taken on the route going forward for the Plant. Nick von Schirnding, Executive Chairman of Arc Minerals commented: "These results are very encouraging, in particular the high-grade cobalt mineralisation intersected in this round of drilling. These results from the pit areas immediately adjacent to the CSD plant show mineralisation that is near surface and hosted in weathered material that can be mined without the need to drill and blast, which should provide for low strip ratios and correspondingly very low mining costs. As a result of higher than expected Cobalt grades encountered, Kalaba is becoming a cobalt project along with copper and as such work is underway to maximise the cobalt recoveries to ensure that full value is extracted. We look forward to further updates soon including further drilling results as well as results from our recently completed Airborne Geophysical programme carried out to highlight further geological structures associated with known zones, potential new zones of mineralisation and to prioritise areas for further drilling from our large-scale Zamsort Copper-Cobalt Project." 12/11/2018 13:43 | Topped up at 3.24 today. Cheap as chips down here. | thebigbadone
30/10/2018 08:57 | I've just topped up at 3.38 - ARCM being caught in bad momentum of AIM resource stocks. Will be looking to add more | 1savvyinvestor
30/10/2018 08:37 | ARCM continue to do things the right way. If only other AIM companies could be so forward looking. Grant of options at a higher price is completely fair and shows great confidence | 1savvyinvestor
30/10/2018 07:21 | Good RNS but at 3p odd it is a £40k payment. The fact that it is at 4.5p bodes well IMHO. Still looking very good here. | parsons4
29/10/2018 21:40 | Going back to 3p! | cbeadle

23/10/2018 11:05 | Arc Minerals* (ARCM LN) 3.8p, Mkt Cap £24m – Drilling shows higher copper grades over good intersections from surface (ARC Minerals currently owns 66% of Zamsort which holds 100% of the Kalaba copper/cobalt mine and associated mineral licenses) STRONG BUY ARC Minerals is to fly an Ultra-low level Magnetic and Radiometric airborne geophysical survey over its entire Zamsort license area in Zambia. The two-week survey should highlight new areas of interest for further exploration and drilling as well as areas to be offered for joint venture partnership. The Zamsort licenses cover a large area which offering significant potential for further discovery and joint venture mining opportunities. We expect one or more significant joint ventures to follow with a number of potential suitors showing interest. Recent drilling shows very promising intersections of copper and cobalt at Kalaba in Zambia. It is worth referring to recent maps and plans at: hxxp://www.arcminera For other share price Angel reports: CLICK FOR 12/09/18 PDF & site visit report: CLICK FOR 14/08/18 PDF Conclusion: It is very encouraging to see such positive and generally improving grades and intersections so soon in the drill campaign given that we have seen only 11 of the holes drilled so far. We await news of the next batch of assay results and metallurgical work so we can see what sort of processing route should be used and what type of recoveries might be expected. *An share price Angel analyst has recently visited the Kalaba open pit mine, stockpiles, process plant and drilling operations. Our analyst and his ‘Chinese’ The Royal Solweizi appears to have an unusual dress code for dinner involving high-viz jackets. Local knowledge tells that a high-viz jacket in Zambia denotes that the wearer has a good quality job in a mine and therefore is a suitable prospect. *SP Angel acts as nomad and broker to Arc Minerals. | cpap man |
