GreenRichard is deliberately misrepresenting the facts here. Changes in the number of shares, except for the £2 million placing at 4.5p in October, were all to do with gaining majority stakes in Casa and then Zamsort. Posters like GR come on websites like this to throw panic and seeds of doubt to feed their short positions. The issue of shares has added huge potential resources to the company at very little cash outlay. If a company dilutes by 25% but increases its value by 100% then issuing of shares is a no brainer. Happy Christmas to holders and looking forward to a great 2019.

Blocked of 250k are his(lubos). They have gone in recent days (off trend) but some new 100 to 150k blocks have been appearing. but if the new sets are indeed "his" - he must be stringing his spreads very thin now which is a good sign .

I wonder if the recent drop is due to the planned tax hike next year, which doesn't make good reading:
If this article is correct you'd think the government might have a rethink in their own interests.
Fatboy: do you know if lubos has finished?

It’s the nature for mining exploration companies to raise proceeds by issuing shares. Recently ARCM have been astute by issuing when the share price is relatively high and they have used the proceeds to good effect by increased ownership stakes in the Africa projects. A good sign is also they didn’t really struggle to raise funds. I know it is still not for the risk averse but they have progressed in the last year towards realising value for their projects

wondered how long before a post like that. So predictable. At some stage there could be another call for cash but it is certainly not imminent. The last raise was at 4.5p and was easily got away. Some dilution may happen at some point in the future in order to secure further developments but this is not a company issuing shares like confetti. A real prospect of success here.

Cash levels low again. This will just be repeated cash calls and dilution.

Not particularly persistent today . Mms just forcing out sells. I've just done a double top up. Couldn't do it in one go

No mention of the Slovakia resource but it would help if they could find a buyer. I think the Africa projects both show potential. Who is the seller that is still persistent?

Arc Minerals* (ARCM LN) 2.8p, Mkt Cap £18m –

ARC Minerals owns Casa Gold 99.4% of Casa Minerals and holds an effective 73% stake in Casa Mining’s Akayanga project

(ARC Minerals currently owns 66% of Zamsort which holds 100% of the Kalaba copper/cobalt mine and associated mineral licenses)

STRONG BUY

Kopara agree to jointly fund all future expenditure at Zamsort.

Drilling on the current 11,000m drill program has exceeded all management expectations in terms of the size of the potential deposit with significant copper / cobalt mineralisation identified with grades of around 0.60% copper equivalent seen over the deposit.

We made good progress with the commercial scale demonstration plant (“CSD”) and the front end of the plant is being dry commissioned in December 2018 and batch processing to commence early in the new year upon completion of the back end. Test work on the oxide ore is quite advanced, with two potential leaching routes being assessed to optimise the process and significantly reduce operating costs.

A recent high resolution airborne geophysical survey over Zamsort is designed to identify new targets over 1,000 km² of license

A separate joint venture vehicle (Zaco Limited) is being created with existing and new shareholders to hold the c.400 sq. km which Zamsort must let go under Zambian mineral regulations, though Arc Minerals will be the largest shareholder in Zaco Limited going forward.

A number of NDA’s have been signed with joint venture partners in relation to site visits to the Zamsort property.

Casa: further NDA’s have been signed in relation to a potential sale of the 3m oz gold JORC resource in the DRC.

Šturec: the project is available-for-sale.

ARC Minerals reports an attributable modest loss of £869k and a loss from continuing operations for the period was £1,2m to end September
The company raised £2m on 1st October adding to the cash and cash equivalents of £484k reported at end September.

ARC reports a 108% increase in its total Assets to £35.7m from £17.2m at 30 September 2017 principally due to the acquisitions of Zamsort Limited and of Casa Mining Limited.

ARC’s key asset is the Kalaba copper, cobalt in Zambia in our view where management expect production to start shortly.

Recent intersections include:

7.12m at 0.87% Cu and 0.10% Co
8m at 1.25% Cu and 0.19% Co
115m at 0.67% Cu Eq. – disseminated mineralisation from surface

I am hopeful for the period January-May 2019. There should be some news flow, and mining exploration stocks are often subdued in December but pick up in the New Year.
They are also at multi- year lows, so I have taken advantage and acculmulated some ARCM for my SIPP.

The price action today is completely out of line with what I was expecting after a fairly positive RNS. I think we will see it moving up again maybe the mms want some stock!

So Interims RNS this evening make good reading. In particular NAV on Balance Sheet is now close to £36m. Current Mkt Cap is almost 40% lower than that!! share price it completely disconnected from reality. That cannot last for much longer. RNS also says strong news flow in VERY near future....

Happy Christmas to all ARCM and OTC holders of old.May the New year bring good fortune to all holders - 2019 year of arcm Fyi... I'll hate to speak to soon . As you know I have been monitoring the activities on L2 for years .For the past 4 days ( t days ) the normal blocks on the sell side have stopped. I would like to confirm for a few more weeks before I can say lubos is out. But if it's not the end... he's definitely running on the limit.

Here's a thing . If parliament rejects May's deal next week all bets are off for what will happen to stock market and the pound . A weak pound ought to help ARC as all investments in dollars . But i don't anticipate much buying before the vote
