i've mailed sophia in aoi land to thank keith and team for work very well done

the only slight downside is that i doubt any more barrels can be added with this oil price, well i mean who would unless fire sale going into green, which would be madness

so its down to developing kenya now and new strikes, unless he can work his magic

what is staggering to me, and this board must be near the top on main menu with all my ramblings, is that its just me and you ray

with all the other boards arguing over a lot of inferior companies till the cows come home, and aoi get overlooked, truly amazing

that came in my inbox late last night, they are predictable, the rbl rebalancing always comes out good, and now aoi are debt free on the company side, just 250 net remaining in prime which is prob only a years money for aoi, so its great

and with oil set to rocket as predicted by many, everyone should have an oiler or 2

i know you bought for the exploration mainly, but the nigeria deal is now looking as pretty amazing business for aoi

more catalysts ahead, would be shocked if this is under $2 canadian by christmas

up almost 6% in sweden as i type.....reaffirmed divs as well, they are making just huge profits and the leverage with $6 lifting costs from nigeria for higher oil prices is massive

just read that traders (think from oilprice) are taking some positions for call options at $200, expiry next year

that would be mind blowing

keith better not hedge much for next year, that would be crazy (ok maybe 20% of production is ok)

looking at my list, AOI (although i'm biased) comes out by far the best

yahoo have got 2.99 for eps next yr, which in think is questionable, very, unless it assumes a complete prime payout.

but, based on everything else as being maybe suspect but equal, its a clear clear winner :-)

not totally in aoi's case, recon maybe, but they should creep, and each time a div gets paid it highlights the value hopefully

and there are so many catalysts with aoi, but yes they all take time

Unfortunately these Canadian shares we have in mind, have a few months, well, at least two, to go, before news will have the required effect I feel. It’s all about early 2022 perhaps?

pretty sure when all comentators say oil will hit 80 they are usually (always!) referring to WTI, as more intentional/used

and the other thing is that the AFE board on stockhouse is amazingly active, albeit mostly slanging matches, and aoi board is on life support

one thing that really does surprise me, is AFE, with rising, really rising natural gas prices, which wont hold but should be higher as well going fwd, that the price isnt at least 50 cents

the buyout is expected to be around 60-100 (very top end and would need to hit on next drill, which they are expected to do), and they are at 30 cents ??

Looking good anyway. But yes, forget the 50 bucks. With the world population increasing by an extra 1 billion by 2030..no chance, the whole of Africa going over to electric cars in the next 30/50 years? Not a hope…then comes India and China, and even built up area’s In this country without a hope of power points enough to cope!

i did read an article by some bloomberg guy who reckons oil will revert to the mean at 50 bucks

crude expected to be under strain until end of year as damage in gulf of mexico gets addressed

need to break through 1.73, which i think will do in next few weeks, maybe this
