31/8/2021 12:06 | dont shoot it i love squirrels | martinfrench
31/8/2021 11:45 | I’m sitting in my study at the mo, waiting for a pesky squirrel to appear, rifle at ready…it’ | rayrac
31/8/2021 11:41 | Ah, the upcoming drill in Namibia at Venus..could be mega, but past drill results puts a break on expectations in Namibia, I’m very keen though. | rayrac
31/8/2021 10:44 | not sure they need to full prime payout to get the divi, they have enough regular oil money coming in. prime might always hold a fair bit anyway, but they need the license extension before they can offload far more cash, but as KH said pretty much a formality, but months off nearer term it will be the regular money, AFE being sold off and those upcoming drills | martinfrench
31/8/2021 08:48 | I’m not holding my breath until funds from prime are met, equal to funds spent. Ie, full return of investment. Then we can look forward to a divvy! | rayrac
30/8/2021 12:55 | The Canadian market is open, so there’s some advantage in holding their shares! Among other’s I might add! | rayrac
26/8/2021 15:25 | quite a few (well, for ths anyway) 10k buys going through today | martinfrench
26/8/2021 15:15 | the lundin family of comapnies, bit of an empire, swedish based, into everything and were very aggressive with exploration back in the day | martinfrench
26/8/2021 07:50 | Lundin company? Part of the mining company? | rayrac
25/8/2021 08:43 | and i dont think any of this to do with exploration, purely value in prime which has finally been exposed although it was fairly obvious so many catalysts do you also know (back when i first started looking in 2009) that the average lundin company of which this is part had an average gain on sale of 4000 % ? think it must be lower now but still wont go to 4000% though :-) | martinfrench
25/8/2021 08:29 | just seems like a too obvious walk up to $2 to me, maybe retrace somewhere but its staring us in the face will tullow step up with some kenya news, bloody hope so | martinfrench
25/8/2021 07:23 | Yes, seems obvious it’s getting onto investors radar. Lovely spread of investments, so I’m longer term. | rayrac
24/8/2021 20:58 | finished on new high, might be a breakout might not, but 4 x average volume, pretty high for aoi | martinfrench
24/8/2021 16:04 | volume in first 90 mins already twice daily average, this could be a big volume day, people hopefully taking positions | martinfrench
24/8/2021 15:42 | just closed at a new 52 week high in stockholm, 11.52 kr thats second 52 week high in few months i know a person (not so educated in ways of investing) who worries at 52 week highs, incl new ones never quite understand that..... | martinfrench
24/8/2021 08:46 | all of aoi, slp and ths are highly cash generative (now) and around pe of < 4, and in good mkts though pgms looking a bit tarnished at the moment but that will change and they will also pay good ish dividends soon, though slp > aoi > ths unless ths do an slp and do a bigger special i expect aoi's to be in area of 3-4%, maybe not straight away but target. dont think by the time they get round to buy backs and price nearer $2 there would be much point | martinfrench
24/8/2021 08:42 | their relative strength is impressive, just coiling for the 180s or so it looks, i would say i'm impressed but did kind of knew they were ultra cheap, this mkt is a funny thing, how other people cant see it and this includes the so called pros is a bit amazing the only thing that really surprised me and prob because the ceo has never talked about it was the equinor rebalance in the agbami field, that was a nice windfall and adds even more going fwd waiting for the afe sale as well as i hold both. ths are the same, just overlooked for ages, but will be very good, as soon as this damn chip shortage clears itself, though they make enough out of chrome to still be a good company slp are being attacked at the moment, i will offload a few when they get back to decent levels, and if aoi are still around 160 ish that will be my next buy/top up | martinfrench
23/8/2021 23:27 | But AOI is doing fine, and I hold, thanks to you Martin! | rayrac
23/8/2021 13:55 | I have held eco a while back, got out because of the problems with TLW and will they won’t they move on Orinduik for deeper light oil drills. So I’ve moved into CGX Energy, where I’m very hopeful of their drill offshore Guyana. | rayrac
20/8/2021 22:17 | Just been reading up on the Canje block off shore Guyana, where in partnership with Exxon and others, they are seeking to drill in what they describe as being of high potential. There’s a lot going for aoi at the moment as you have said Martin. Just need the price of oil to get back towards $70! | rayrac
18/8/2021 12:04 | just listed to the q2 webcast presentation, as impressive as it gets couple of things of interest apart from the clarity of the earnings (fully impressive) was the kenya update. he expects tullow to announce in sept the next steps, and he hopes 50% of the project (so 12.5% of aoi's interest) will be a new partner, paying almost all the cost of the pipeline that could be pretty good also very likely share buybacks/div end of yr (which i take as a yes) venus spud (youir main interest lol) likely dec this yr | martinfrench |
