I have seen Directors' RNS's define "approximately" as an 82% variation so your "imminent" falls well within that bracket... including whether £9.82 is currently within that approximation to £10 too!!

This amused me today:

Deutsche Bank raises TP to 800 from 700 and says Sell
HSBC raises TP to 730 from 720 and says Reduce
RBC Capital raises TP to 900 from 820 and says Sector Perform.

I guess everyone thinks the copper price has topped out at $3... so we can all sell now... OR
Be a contrarian and Buy against Brokers' recommendations!

ANTO still strong at 8 quid despite a lacklustre copper price and not too good recent China figures.

One good reason is that its a reasonably safe haven from the Trump driven turmoil.

However, if the $ continues to be pressured this may weigh on ANTO earnings and the share price going forward.

If you say so, maybe it will but currently it is 795. just 145 away from your target.

Plenty of money to be made from trading it long and short

Nick,

Yes, 650 may be inevitable later, mindful that there's also a gap at circa 641.50 from about 9th Nov. But the timing of such a down move is far from a sure thing. - GL.

LIVE FUTURES REPORT: Base metals prices under pressure, LME copper and nickel fall further

Base metals prices on the London Metal Exchange fell across the board again on Thursday May 4, remaining under pressure after a significant sell-off on Wednesday when they dropped 2.2% on average.

The three-month copper price has fallen $259 per tonne over the last two days to below $5,600 per tonne, roiled by a 25% increase in stocks over that period. Nickel fell at its lowest since June 2016 due to a two-day decline of $500 per tonne, which reflects easing supply concerns after Philippine lawmakers rejected the appointment of Gina Lopez as Environment Secretary. Aluminium, zinc, lead and tin suffered smaller declines. Copper drops below $5,600/t • The three-month copper price fell $57 to close at $5,543 per tonne.

Hi Eadwig,

Traducing is a hobby of mine. I have been exercising it on the Barcplus site recently with regards to the codswallop link put up by Philip Reid on the iii Barc board yesterday. What a plank!
