10/7/2022 09:07 | This in turn has helped me to mitigate the 'paper losses' I had following Brockham day by trading the share more 1347: Everyone has their own strategy, I'm glad you have managed to make a bit back. The share price is up 100% on anticipation of first gas. Plenty money to me made | 3put
10/7/2022 08:28 | JT As I've said before, they are not mutually exclusive. My view is that both are true to some extent, but it's difficult to judge the ratio. Things do tend to bubble to the surface eventually though, as we've found out, so we'll see. As for overthinking things, well before Brockham I underthought things to some degree and took their RNS announcements at face value and how did that go? Since then I decided to dig deeper and because of that I've been pretty acccurate in my predictions subsequently. This means that even if I can't predict the exact turn of events and timescales I can now predict the trajectory fairly well. This in turn has helped me to mitigate the 'paper losses' I had following Brockham day by trading the share more. In fact, as we've also discussed, there are wider issues here about the standard and integrity of the AIM and the jam tomorrow companies, lifestyle directors and various City of London barrow boys that infest it. So, what I've learnt by 'overthinking' things with Anguish Energy has helped me to identify (and avoid) other similar companies and situations. | 1347

09/7/2022 22:55 | 1347: well, you may be right about that. I think they’re just not very competent. There’s a danger of over-thinking these things, it can all be explained by laziness, inexperience and not being very good at it. Do you think we’ll find out which theory is correct? | jtidsbadly
09/7/2022 21:36 | SAV & Boom , my two picks. Get in about it lads | 3put
09/7/2022 21:13 | JT I've held the view for a while that the whole 'charge of the lightweight brigade' thing and Poundland was contrived to ensure that money went to the 'right people'. For me the 'clear out the stale bulls' comment gave it away some time ago. The events, as they have unfolded, have only reinforced that view. As with the oaf in No 10, I have trouble believing that incompetence alone explains it sufficiently. | 1347
09/7/2022 20:29 | 1347: yes, the placees may have taken shares to profit from selling them on but the outcome is the same - Anguish raises free money from the market without which they would have been in trouble. Mercuria is referred to as the Senior Lender - implying they put up most of the money. Though I realise that may not be the case! Still, if I were Aleph and interested in taking this over, I wouldn’t have agreed to the hedges on these terms. Unless I were a party to them as well. The thing about Mercuria’s position is, they make more money if they take over Poundland than they do from the hedges (assuming the gas flows as projected: though even if it doesn’t, they’ll still make more money from owning the whole thing). I’m assuming that the Charge applies only to their share of the loan - or that there are two loans, though I suppose it’s quite possible that both Mercuria and Aleph are party to it. In any case, it wouldn’t make financial sense to let Anguish off the hook, would it? Not without a quid pro quo, possibly in the form of a higher royalty. They certainly won’t want to see shareholders getting a dividend, will they? That would be paid out of money the Lenders could have secured if they’d executed the Charge. | jtidsbadly
09/7/2022 19:29 | The lithium boom has seen some huge Share Price rises. Two companies that remain imo significantly undervalued, are Savannah Resources #SAV and Kodal Minerals #KOD. Both over the magic 1% grade, with excellent proven resources. I’ll post some notes later for anyone interested. | 3put
09/7/2022 19:29 | @SavannahRes #SAV still offering excellent value imo, with price held back due to ongoing, but positive EIA. Europe’s most advanced hard stone project. I’ve added some highlights to start you off. DYOR. #Lithium [...] | 3put |
