Sincero, if (and that's a pretty hefty "if") we are to take the whole "announcement of a formal consideration of sale" thing at face value, I still don't understand why George is announcing an FSP at this stage when (if his other many assurances are to be believed), Poundland is about to start producing untold riches can be seen as sign whatsoever of "showing confidence"?

That mention of restated OGA guidance in this morning's RNS remains interesting. I expect it's about financial viability and having the required muscle. Which may in part explain this sudden FSP.

Anyhow, as I said next door, it's all a bit moot for two reasons. 1) ANGS still has to keep pushing on to achieve first gas as soon as possible (imagine how low any "indicative offer" might be if we were say in May and Poundland wstill asn't in full production?). And 2) pretty much the entire decision-making authority lies in the hands of those on the other side of the loan and the hedge.

Now that is interesting! If the 10-gallon hat-wearing portly Aussie is involved who knows what will happen in the short term!

I find myself agreeing with hits alot!

Today's RNS is hardly unexpected -Agree, key here is how much is any offer.

They're pretty much "if the price is right - Agree

Anyhow, none of this changes what ANGS simply must carry on doing in the short-term, namely getting to full production as soon as possible.I'm sure everyone would agree that, if Saltfleetby were in full production, the asset would be more simple to value

-- Agree

Going to be interesting to watch this play out.

True, also a few short considering what do next. JT and his Ids have spammed the forums for months, shame really as a number of people have missed the rise. I'm sure he will say sorry one day

All very very predictable, hits said the share price would go up. Many would have sold but hits conviction was powerful

How much gas and how much is the offer , rest is just noise.

The Company is pleased to announce that it has had at least six bona fide approaches to participate in the FSP and/or other indications of interest in a potential offer for either all of the shares of the Company or the Company's licence interest in the Saltfleetby Gas Field ("Parties").

CQ: there’s £825,000 worth, if exercised, of 1.2p options aren’t there? More than they got in the December placing.

Well that is a pleasant RNS to start the week . I anticipate a certain amount of discomfort for the regular derogatory posters and a reduction in activity which often signifies that their utterances where not genuine .
