10/9/2021 13:15 | JT No I don't think so, he does. As regards your question, my interpretation is that they believe they can use the existing permit (with the variations as per the consultation documents) rather than apply for a separate permit specifically for the processing plant, which of course wasn't in the original permit as it didn't exist at that time. I'm not able to say whether they are likely to be correct in that understanding or not, but HSE will certainly block anything they don't like, e.g. such as a drilling operation next to a working gas plant. More twists and turns than Snake pass, more to come no doubt. | 1347

10/9/2021 12:30 | Sincero, the communication re the forthcoming investor presentation strongly suggests that it will be exclusively limited to ANGS' plans for and thoughts on geothermal. (Oh joy). On that basis, I hugely doubt that anything at all will be answered about latest estimates on timing of first gas at Poundland or necessity of successful sidetrack etc, not least because such things would need to be notifiable anyway, if ANGS is in possession of new news that differs in any way from info it has previously released to the market. Hence "Bedtime fairytale hour with George"... | headinthesand
10/9/2021 12:26 | And this is an answer to an investor question re Brockham on 18 June. It doesn’t fill one with confidence, does it? “We cannot make a determination on when EA approval will be obtained – although clearly the Q2 target has been missed. The permit application for water injection is subject to public consultation which inevitably slows the process of determination. Subject to there not being onerous conditions we could resume production/injection of site-produced water very shortly afterward. We would certainly hope for a determination during Q3 or be able to advise at least on a narrower set of dates during Q3 (of the order of weeks).” | jtidsbadly
10/9/2021 12:09 | 1347: do you think so? From the early August update, what does this mean? “We are in continuous engagement with Environment Agency regarding the process plant.” and “As regards planning and permitting, local authority approval was obtained last week. An initial presentation has been made to HSE. BSOR application to HSE will be made in mid August. It is understood that the operation can be conducted under Angus’ existing Environment Agency permit for this site.” Does this mean they thought they were square with the EA? Also, those gas compressors waiting at the docks somewhere in the US have to go to Kent to be incorporated in the plant the fabricator there is building, don't they? for delivery to site in November. | jtidsbadly
10/9/2021 11:57 | the investor call is open to all existing and potential shareholders and investor feedback can be submitted directly to management post event...therefore there is literally no reason , none, nada, niente ... why the resident window licker grey disingenuous negative discredited brigade can't ask questions ..... time to stop hiding, making stuff up and spouting supposition old duffers .. ask up or shut up........ | sincero1

10/9/2021 11:32 | JT Give up trying to talk your way out of this, won't wash with me, are you part of the 5th column? | 1347
10/9/2021 11:25 | 1347: I do know a little about port, clubs and country attire, yes (the Lucan country clothing range is shocking). I was using the term ”hero” in the literary sense - i.e. the principal protagonist in the story. They’re not always entirely admirable people. I’m sure you will have read “Crime and Punishment”. Iago, the hero in “Othello” | jtidsbadly
10/9/2021 11:10 | JT - I am not in agreement with the analogy, feeble yes, hero most certainly not. Can you get treatment for the misplaced empathy before the illness progress any further? Or could it be that you are really a double agent, as I've long suspected, you do seem to know an awful lot about port, clubs and country wear etc. | 1347
10/9/2021 11:10 | HITS: yes, and it looks as if this could be the next presentation to shareholders. Didn’t they say there would be an update in the first half of September? It’s not looking good, is it? | jtidsbadly

10/9/2021 11:01 | It's unlike me to copy n paste from site to site - I usually leave that up to the cack-handed multi-ID swing traders like Cant/Cuddo. However, I can't see any way of conveying my opinions more cogently re the just announced "investor presentation", so here goes:- What a surprise.... it's Jackanory with George time again. This increasing urgency for ANGS to wave the pompoms around geothermal is IMV really not an encouraging sign. As anyone who's done the briefest of research will already know, proving the commercial viability of any potential geothermal site is inevitably going to take many tens of millions of pounds and many years of time - and again IMV , ANGS has the luxury of neither. This seems to be an attempt to distract away from what's actually going on (or not) at Poundland. It's Poundland that should be ANGS' SOLE FOCUS - because that represents the only chance that the company has of producing any revenue (let alone profitable revenue) in the foreseeable future. That's what ANGS investors need to hear about, not more can-kicking "jam tomorrow" fairytales that at best will be a distraction away from what the company exclusively and desperately needs to get on with delivering. | headinthesand

10/9/2021 10:03 | JA51OILER - 31 Mar 2021 -" As JT has pointed out, if there was a contract still in place with Shell as you maintain, Angus would be in breach for non-delivery and it would now be void. ja51"contractvoid"oi there's the real BS .... what a clown ... | sincero1

10/9/2021 09:56 | UJ9: good luck with your trading. Though I think a team with any oil or gas experience would have demurred if they’d been offered this pig in a poke. | jtidsbadly
10/9/2021 09:42 | That's the risk, if we had a team with a proven track record the mcap would be closer to 50/60m right now. Especially with the price of gas. Can't disagree and anyone thinking about getting in should know Angs have failed to deliver this far. Some consistent good news from Angs and the landscape changes again. I'm back in as I've made good money trading it up and down | ultimatejustice9
10/9/2021 09:40 | CQ: you wouldn’t want to live in the house 0.3km. from the site, would you, in the event that they get as far as flaring gas? Not with unpredictable gas pressure as the shut-down field is put back on stream. Still it seems likely it won’t come to that under Anguish’s ownership, what? | jtidsbadly
10/9/2021 09:32 | The only TWO CERTAINTIES with Anguish are that: A) They will NEVER meet a deadline (If history teaches us anything!) B) They will keep on rewarding themselves for failure IMHO Predictions (by the disingenuous) of flares in October - bearing in mind Lucan's own deadline has moved back to February - is laughable. Shareholders will get "something" by October... but it's more likely to be a discount placing then an operational milestone - based upon Anguish's track record of serial incompetence. CQ ;-) | clottedq
10/9/2021 09:31 | 1347: re Stockholm Syndrome - while it’s possible, I feel I’m more akin to the filmgoer who watches the feeble hero of the plot haplessly stumbling from mis-step to disaster and thrashing about trying to find a way out. It’s a bit tragic and it’s only human to empathise. The misleading of shareholders counts against him, of course but the loss of reputation that this may result in must weigh on him, I should think. But then, I’m a sympathetic chap and I haven’t currently got an investment in this very slow-moving shipwreck. | jtidsbadly |
