Insincerio1:

Both companies are still out on the can kicking trail... just a case of which one runs out of steam (i.e: money + shareholder & Market belief) first!

IMHO, it seems more like an old boys competition between Sanderson and Lucan to see who can be last man standing - rather than a sound risk v reward investment proposal - in either - these days.

They've squandered more money on complete and utter failures between them than most other AIM companies combined!

Where's the FCA been looking for the past eighteen months I wonder?

CQ ;-)

The only debate worth having at the moment is which between U-Dog's or Anguish's shareholders stand to lose their shirts faster?

It's a difficult one to call IMHO!

I like a debate also. Gas must still be on track for Q4 as nothing to suggest otherwise in today's RNS. Gas prices are at a 5 year high , I believe

Very odd, it's a forum to discuss Angs and they have put out news today. Not sure what your point is ?

jtisadly's recent posts... dear oh dear .... clueless....

5.7.21 "placing this week or next"
8.7.21"another placing or two in the next few months"
9.7.21 "" placing is in the queue and will come once the latest UKOG issue has been digested"
14.7.21 ""I'm expecting two placings this year"
"I'm expecting two placings this year"
21.5.21 "poor angus 0.20 soon" 10+ weeks ago.
" share price into the sixties shortly " 10+ weeks ago.
"oga approval doubt" .
" financing doubt" .
" running out of money " weekly prediction for last 6 months.
" 0.15 by end of year".
" placing soon " daily prediction for last 6 months.
"its a pump & dump" - it wasn't.
and now my personal favourite rambling from this loon : "They did run out of money towards the end of March, as we predicted" - And from the interim : As at 31 March 2021 the Group had cash of £591,000. As at 31 March 2021 the Group had net current assets of £1,351,000".
Here are a few of jtisadly's comment regarding mercuria:
"If Mercuria has written the hedge contracts, Anguish may fall into their hands"
"it's going to cost Mercuria lots of money"
"Maybe they can use Anguish's tax losses"
"I expect Mercuria to want Anguish to have more placings"
"I dare say Mercuria will be getting all its original demands met"
"I expect the loan terms to stipulate release of funds as and when needed and subject to Mercuria's specific approval"
"Id be surprised if we don't see the appointment of a Mercuria person as a Director there very shortly."
"The proposed loan terms are unaffordable. Mercuria must have something else in mind"
"For someone like Mercuria, this is a no-brainer. Tax losses that make pulling the plug on Anguish pretty well risk-free if they can't make money on the gas"

CQ: I like a debate, even an argument, but as Michael Palin said to John Cleese in a famous Monty Python episode, “this isn’t an argument, it’s contradiction”. Which is all you get from these three. I can’t be bothered to read them, they’re just paid to contradict what people who’ve got a clue write.

JT,

I never filter... I find it far too amusing to read the cheerleaders wriggle and squirm to generate a positive slant as the ugly story unfolds - or rather unravels - as the true facts emerge!

Who remembers:

"We can deliver Saltfleetby without further cost to shareholders" Only now it's costing shareholders another £12 million + a Wonga loan at premium rates + penalties & counting!

Or:

"First gas production scheduled for 2020" and look where we are - now clinging to an optimistic promise of first gas in 2022!

George Lucan - hang your head in shame. His lack of oil & gas experience has been evident all along, but his "so-called financial expertise is highly questionable too IMHO - given the current state of this company's finances and the terms of the loan "HE" negotiated!

CQ ;-)

"some of this positivity"

????????????????????????

Massively over budget... massively delayed... and riddled with high drill failure risk - on the back of repeated failure to deliver already - That's how I sum up Anguish's achievements to date & their future prospects.

Come back and tell me I'm wrong in January next year when IMHO George tells The Market that his "optimistic" schedule might need to move back yet again!

And here’s another item for the Q&A:

“When will the full Accounts in respect of AEWB No.3 be available on the Companies House website? As you will be aware, the Company’s auditors stipulate that the Notes to the Accounts form part of the Accounts. Notes 5-12 are missing from the Companies House filing.”

Does anyone understand hedging? If so, can they explain to me what happens if you’re expecting to produce 10 units of gas by July and have contracted today to sell forward at 43p/therm 7 units of this expected production. Then you find in July that you’re not actually producing anything yet. Surely your counterparty in the hedge contract will want his gas, or the monetary equivalent of the difference in price between 43p and the prevailing price in July, x the 7 units?

What am I missing? (Please don’t tell me I’m missing the acknowledged financial expertise/experience of the interim MD).

JT,

Indeed. Prospects here are hanging by a thread - based on full profitable delivery by first quarter next year.

In the meantime... Anguish is running on "borrowed" fumes. Progress on anything other than Saltfleetby (aka PoundLand) isn't worth even considering IMHO, since:

A) They have proven repeatedly incapable of getting ONE job right... let alone trying their hand at multitasking! Complete focus needed now - more than ever!

B) They have insufficient time & funds to progress anything other than the last chance saloon which is PoundLand (£12 Million PoundLand & still climbing...as it turns out!)

Can we expect an RNS on Thursday following the Lucan programme on ITV on Wednesday evening?

Nothing wrong with today's RNS - except it contained precisely nothing new of any significance. Anyone who's been keeping even a casual eye on ANGS over the last few months knew all of that already, so pretty much a non-event in my opinion.

CQ: and another 4 weeks from March to complete the sidetrack bring you nicely to the start of the hedge contracts. They’ll be lucky to get any production at all before March, in my view. They're still doing the design work! How can you order all the required kit if you don’t know where it’s all going. And they may need more money to pay off Knowe. I dare say Mercuria (of whom we’ve heard nothing since the deal was RNS’d) may give them some leeway on their loan, but there will be a price to be paid.

Read the RNS this AM and had to laugh... sure I can hear the all too familiar tinkle tinkle of a can being kicked further down the road...

I guess the "stale bulls" called it right again:

Not a hope in Hell of seeing profitable gas this side of next year IMHO... especially now that the sidetrack is going to be pushed back until March 2022 (after all... Lucan rarely mentions the "D" word unless it's already inevitable!)

Current gas volume - without the sidetrack - will be insufficient to pay off the unanticipated debt and those exorbitant BOD salaries + they will need to shut down the plant in order to drill the sidetrack later - and THEN of course - just the small matter of Anguish needing to have a successful drill for the first time in their long painful history!

God give me strength.

a good solid rns ....
The resident window lickers are very quiet ... has the new face slap "...and some of this positivity will drown out the more ridiculous rumour-mongering and disinformation" humiliated them so much they will no longer post .... or are they waiting for market reaction before posting .. so predictable ...
