1347: It’s clear that UKOG will need to place another 1.5bn. shares this year merely to pay Mr. Sanderson his salary. I don’t know the size of his perquisites bill. It’s time the curtain was run down on both UKOG and Vast. I agree that Anguish could last a while longer in view of its cash flow but i wouldn’t hold my breath, the global refinancing to make them debt-free has not been signed yet. I was looking back at it earlier today and they’ve been talking about it since last June/July. I dare say it all depends on the intentions of the junior lenders in terms of whether they are interested in buying the company at much lower share price levels.

Do you think that insincero and goldfinger are one and the same? Both have a similar unpleasant style and post on no other boards. Similar again to whattheduce on UKOG come to think of it.

JT I suspect Vast will be the first to go under, UKOG will stagger on for a while longer. Anguish Energy is safer as long as the gas keeps flowing. None of them offer any value to investors. Traders can making a few bob on a manufactured spike if they time it well or are just lucky.

1347: yes, me too, and I wonder if either company’s negotiations will result in anything. UKOG’s recent loans have been mind-bendingly complex. Vast is undergoing a p&d now.

I wonder if it's the same one Anguish Energy are now talking to? Both companies are dead dogs as far as I'm concerned so anyone could pick them up for a song if they see any long term value in storage.

Dear oh dear. UKOG is worth a look this morning. A 22% fall, on a big placing at a 20% discount to raise just £750,000 before expenses. The money raised to be used mainly on their hydrogen storage plans, for which they also say they’re in financing talks with a major international trading house!

Ah Jabberwocky, one of the greatest nonsense poems written. Quite appropriate really considering the RNS announcements made by Anguish Energy.

Flagstaff posting in Kansas, normally a red flag warning that tends to occur when they want to issue, then flip, some more shares.

1347: a much better investment, yes, than a flutter on Anguish. He won, comically, “The Poundland Handicap” at Warwick racecourse late in 2022, if you recall. Where is Chickndinner, who spotted it?

All those drilling experts responsible for the mixed results from about 1998 until Wingas finished with Poundland must be pointing the finger and laughing their heads off. The earlier Pen Holder was fond of deriding their efforts and predicting much quicker and more successful results, with his enhanced seismic and superior expertise.

Anyway, enough of him. Poor as he was, I miss him a bit, at least he had some character.

JT No I didn't, but I've just checked on t'interweb thingy and found out what it means.

TBH the less I know about that awful institution and the awful people that went to it the better. The ones that I am aware of seem to have many of the attributes that I despise in a person, although the latest twerp squatting in Downing Street, who went to Winchester, seems to have surpassed even their low standards. Morosophs who formed a kakistocracy is how I classify them. They'll be gone soon, for some time I expect.

Yes I think an investment in the similarily named racehorse would have been a better option than Anguish Energy, which is hovering around 0.5 p, with either more debt and/or more shares to come shortly and with the gas flow declining at Poundland.

1347: you know the answer to that, don’t you? It’s what Boris was in but Cameron wasn’t. Gaudy waistcoats.

Re Lord Snootie, the former Pen Holder’s namesake racehorse: according to racenet.com.au website, “It has proven a profitable horse for the punters over the journey. If you had backed Lord Snootie throughout its career you'd have achieved a 18 percent return on investment.” A bitter pill for Angus investors to swallow, that, what?

1347: well done! The collar is right, but does the waistcoat indicate membership of “Pop”? They must be missing him in Chiswick. I dare say the reverse is not the case, he must still be coming in for a fair bit of ribbing about going there for work - even once a fortnight, what?
