Wondering why Anguish have not released an RNS re Balcombe? They are not waiting to post a separate fundraising RNS at the same time are they? Just a thought. In my opinion.

JT Yes Balcombe is just a distraction. There was a time that I thought it was promising, but that was based on the Kimmeridge being viable, but it's not is it. Horse Hill was the only one that flowed and that was proven to be an anomaly, and a fairly short lived one at that.

Cuadrilla's original intentions were to frack it, since they can't do that then it's just a rainbow asset that needs to be talked up. Formation is probably too tight to flow naturally from what I found looking at the history. I reckon they know that, which is why they let the permissions 'accidently' lapse so that wouldn't be exposed.

In any case it will likely take Anguish Energy a year to actually get anything done, then they have a 12 month test. It won't stop the usual suspects ramping it to high heaven though, just like the side-track that was 'nailed on', according to 'experts' such as Captain Push2.
