Yup, that's approx what I had assumed, starting end Q3. The three main unknowns remain ... Bashirov's intentions, how the new plant (once commissioned) will affect the overall financial metrics & results of exploration. Accounts are backward looking and so the benefits of the PSA (with regards treatment of capex) will not show through until next FY figures but, by then we'll have a clearer understanding of how the company is able to maximise their production based on having the three recovery processes available, according to the ore encountered.

So now that expenditure is nearly finished there is an additional $500k a month they can put towards paying off the debt.

Ignore the above!

Flotation plant

· Planned flotation plant will act as a pilot plant to assess future full-scale copper production and will initially process 379,000 tonnes of stockpiled high copper content sulphide ore to produce a copper and precious metal concentrate
· Flotation plant will operate alongside Gedabek's existing agitation and heap leaching operations which produce gold and silver; and the SART plant which produces copper concentrate
· Contract placed for up to US$2.7 million for the turnkey construction of a small-scale flotation plant with a capacity of 20 tonnes per hour of ore
· Scheduled total capital cost including capital works and ancillary equipment estimated at US$3.5 million

Matt

Can you recall what the estimated cost was for the flotation plant? I cannot find the information.

nice update seems to have been mainly ignored . I suspect people looked at the headline % gain at the open & decided to leave it alone but, in reality that was a mark up from a daft end of day auction in Friday that settled at 6p on 35 shares!$3.5m off the debt since 31.12.14 .. The mkt cap has increased approximately pro rate the rate of debt reduction in that timeframe so, the market not yet looking forward or ascribing any additional value whatsoever to the assets & improving operational performance which the debt has been used to acquire. The period of high CAPEX is about to end and one would expect to see the company focus on cash generation and debt reduction. The return of the Technical chap seems have had an immediate improvement on the recovery rates which I assume will continue going forward

Quite a few selling despite the good news. POG is not helping here.. seems destined to drop below 1500 which will not be good for the bottom line. What are the current costs here?

These few paragraphs worth noting from this morning also:-

As previously reported, low grade ore (less than 1.5 grammes per tonne of gold) is being treated by heap leaching, whilst higher grade ore (more than 1.5 grammes per tonne of gold) is being processed through the agitation leaching plant.

During Q2 2015, the Company processed 141,552 (HY1 2015: 278,269) tonnes of ore with an average gold content of 3.38 (HY1 2015: 3.50) grammes per tonne through the agitation leach plant.

There was a 79 per cent. gold recovery in agitation leaching for Q2 2015, compared to 71 per cent. for the previous quarter. The increase in recovery rate was due to the composition of the ore feed which was more amenable to leaching and better configuration of the agitation leach plant.

Resourceful spelling out exactly why the shares are likely to rise substantially from here. The average punter hasn't bothered to read the statements. He/she will probably do so when the shares hit 20p+.

A bad market day for news with the Greece situation. I think they will have to take it higher if they want volume. MMs do not understand this concept!

Great result. More to come. Next quarter is historically strongest of the year. Q4 will be good too with the new plant. Could beat the estimates as stated.
All good from here on.

The quarterly production figure are always announced via RNS. Q2 will include April, May and June production.

"In light of the expected H1 2015 production performance (full Q2 2015 production figures will be announced in July 2015)"

We normally get insight into the monthly production from the Azerbaijan news websites around the 12th - 15th of each month.

Question. Are we expecting Q2 figures to be announced as an RNS? AGM statement mentioned it would be announced in July so I'm assuming so. Others agree?

We can expect the quarterly update from Monday onwards.

It looks like it could coincide with a good week on the markets as the indications are the Greece mess might get resolved.

Bras so .. The closing auction today suggests little of size on either Bid or Offer in/around the days spread.I assume the closing price merely reflects participants just sitting on their hands. Either a buyer got lucky for a few or, a seller was unlucky for a few. Given current market conditions, this looks most likely to remain in virtual hibernation until the monthly figures are released in Az press next week and just the MM auctions to set a price
