thanx DP,,, just how tough is it,, are you able to indicate....

how much are PXC trying to raise?

how many potential funder meetings have you guys had?

what reasons do they give for declining?

are any still waiting to respond?

how much time does PXC have at current cash burn until it folds?

it's interesting for me to be able to ask an insider directly,,, so please excuse me if any of my questions seem out of order,,, nothing personal there,,, just questions I'd be asking PXC as a potential investor etc etc..

many thanx

Cheers
Wan :-)

I honestly don't know wan, but I've sat in fundraising meetings where people have asked what I thought were very intelligent, probing questions and got what I thought were excellent, informative replies. We are talking to serious people, we have an asset with lots of potential (8 and 12% copper intercepts, silver at 6oz/tonne, lead at 21%, gold being produced at 1.6g/t on average historically etc), but it is a really tough market.
The key thing is to stay in the game, and if you can stay in the game long enough, eventually circumstances change and things improve.

There is nothing specific that I am aware of, but PXC is a pre-production miner and as such needs funding until it becomes profitable. My assumption is that uncertainty over funding is the main driver behind the sells today.

Give it a rest bumpa.
If you look back at everything I have posted, it has all been honest. In fact, I've had lots of criticism from people for not being promotional enough. Mining is a hard business and since being involved with Phoenix I always said that funding was the key challenge. The company are trying their best to meet that challenge, and I'm doing what I can to help.

Gotta love BIRD.
It seems like the leader hasn't briefed his minions about what's going on though.
Or perhaps he hasn't got a clue.

Morning,

Wan - more than a technical bounce on TXP - see the RNS today. They have just acquired the Central Block assets (to be debt financed) that come with a processing plant and pipeline access to an LNG terminal where gas prices are several times higher than the stuff they currently have contracted with the NGC. It opens up new pricing, which was discussed in the presentation. It's pretty big news imo. Finally something to cheer about!
