The Parkmead Group plc ("Parkmead", "the Company" or "the Group") Sale of Parkmead (E&P) Ltd Parkmead, the independent energy group focused on growth through gas, oil and renewable energy projects, is pleased to announce the signing of an agreement to effect the sale (the "Sale") of its wholly owned subsidiary, Parkmead (E&P) Ltd (the "Subsidiary"), to Serica Energy (UK) Ltd ("Serica"). The Subsidiary currently holds Parkmead's UK offshore oil licences together with its Netherlands onshore gas licences. The Netherlands asset portfolio is excluded from the scope of the transaction and will be retained by the Group. Therefore, Parkmead is retaining 100% of its revenue producing assets, which comprise its Dutch natural gas fields and its UK wind farm, all of which are onshore. The consideration for the Sale being received by Parkmead consists of £14 million of firm cash consideration and up to £120 million of contingent cash consideration, payable as follows: | avsome1968

12/12/2024 11:38 | Thanks for clarification KS. I told you last time we met I had bailed a while back as I just didnt trust Braay anymore. Hopefully he has turned a corner, good luck. | pogue
12/12/2024 11:30 | pogue, Yes, he does. This is just my opinion though after watching both presentation and interview. They appeared far more candid and realistic with none of the buzzwords and hyperbole from when they were trying to hype everything up. They recognised that the first Cascadura well, which has been excellent, is not representative of the average well in the reservoir and in fact have modelled next year's production forecast on the much poorer performing wells after having displayed all of the type-curve data (even though next years wells are being drilled in the more optimal sweet spot between the 2 pads they currently are producing off). They want to now finally set realistic targets (and hopefully beat them) rather than hoping for the best. It's a definite, more measured, change in tact. We'll see if I am right following drilling next year. | king suarez
12/12/2024 11:24 | affc21 - hope it goes well yes, I’m taking a traders gamble - ie banked the gain, waiting to jump back in - the drill results are fantastic, key is now as they step out to see if they’re maintained like that - if so it could be a real story. And then there is the Canaccord position… there is and has been stock available so I guessing warrant holders exercising, maybe still some placing stock etc but they just keep soaking it up. OMI will have to place again at some point, but you’d hope from a higher baseline than here… As an aside I looked at GGP the other day, probably the standout success story in the junior gold space on the UK market in recent times. I remember when it was trading around 2p and a mkt cap in the teens I think. Mkt cap is now £775m with the share price in the 7’s 😳😳 - it has of course been much much higher, the share price that is. Just a reminder that even when you have a big success, timing is still everything… | bumpa33 |
