BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 19. Baku and Yerevan have reached a preliminary agreement on the Issue of four villages in Azerbaijan's Gazakh district, Trend reports.

The relevant agreement was reached during the eighth meeting of the State Commission on the Delimitation of the State Border between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia and the Commission on the Delimitation of the State Border and Border Security between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan.

"At the initial stage of the delimitation process, the parties previously agreed on the passage of separate segments of the border line directly between the settlements of Baganis (Armenia) – Baganis Ayrim (Azerbaijan), Voskepar (Armenia) – Ashagi Askipara (Azerbaijan), Kirants (Armenia) – Kheyrimli (Azerbaijan) and Berkaber (Armenia) – Gizilghajili (Azerbaijan) in order to bring them into line with the legally justified inter-republican border that existed within the Soviet Union at the time of its collapse," the document says.

The parties decided that the description of these segments of the borderline will be drawn up taking into account the clarification of coordinates based on geodetic measurements on the ground, which will be formalized by an appropriate Protocol description, which must be agreed and signed by the parties by May 15, 2024.

Without a single shot fired, without any bloodshed, the return of the non-enclave villages of the Gazakh district, which were previously under the occupation of Armenia, to Azerbaijan's control has been ensured - this is another victory for President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

Today's decision is the logical outcome of the consistent, years-long policy of President Ilham Aliyev aimed at restoring the sovereignty of Azerbaijan across its entire territory.

Agreed.Higher risk. Higher reward. All stock market dealings come with risk. If I wanted less risk I would probably be buying into a fund. I do think AAZ will come through. It's track record tells you it will.Fingers crossed as always, who knows....GLAJW.Ps. My stock market dealings are a small percentage of my overall position.

Yes cmb I still have shares in AAZ but nowhere near as many as I had. I have never had a problem with the company just how they have been / and still are being treated. I really dont understand it . GLA long term holders. Lets hope the news arrives soon. Im sure I will buy back some of those i sold recently once the news arrives . Looks like im going to have to pay more than i thought though, but hey ho that was my decision.

I think going all in is a risky strategy with TD uncertainty. We are also in a bear market with Israel intent on instigating WW3. MMs don't need much of an excuse to take a share price down at the best of times.

Yes, am looking forward to MTL figures and further details about their new 16,000 hectare Abra tenement.
Runruno is a 100% Gold operation ... Lacub & Manikbel opportunities in the new Abra tenemenet apear to be Copper/Gold porphyry type with some strong Gold grades.
I'm quite excited to see they are likey to transition into both a Gold & Copper miner.
An extraordinary turnaround under Darren Bowden's leadership and he comes across as a man well on top of game & determined to drive the business forward into a very significant $Bn+ mining entity

Hi Pogue,I like your analysis of the next milestones for CTL, which I 100% agree with by the way. It's always good to get another person's viewpoints. And thanks for highlighting Aldo's share loan shenanigans (cannot believe that he would stupidly do such a thing, perhaps goes to show his state of mind at the time due to his divorce proceedings) on here. Upon which I bought back in and it's looking good so far (famous last words:)

Jeanesy I wish you very good luck with your investments in MTL. I hope you are still holding some AAZ shares. You have been a holder here for a long time. I know you were unhappy with the Azari's treatment of AAZ.
I did consider MTL. Instead decided for more AAZ shares.

MTL looking strong again after a bit of profit taking. News due next week ( or week after) should be good especially as the company is now debt free and the price of metals remains strong .

JW' I often use TA in my investments.
Currently TA is certainly looking very positive as well. The cup and handle is a very powerful symbol in TA. It can be Googled for the explanation.

The good thing about copper, is that it's a real market, ie it's a metal in constant industrial demand for consumption, and thus a dangerous commodity to game with.

The much heralded shortage talked up over a decade ago, has yet to substantially hit prices. Are we perhaps actually seeing a decline in the Dollar? If so, when the evasive shortage finally hits, we get a double whammy :¬)

JW' welcome to the all in club.
We all have a choice in our investments. Who has the most to lose here is Reza Wazari who holds the largest amount of shares in AAZ.
I think he is a very honest CEO.
I also understand the culture he comes from. I made my decision to go all in over time and analysing the stock market currently. My above post explains it all.
I wish all investors good luck in whatever they are invested in. I have made my choice and I am sticking by it.
GLA.

from SPA Morning wrap:

"Copper $9,830/t - 50,000t of copper concentrates just sold at a negative TC/RC of –$18/t / -1.8c/lb
• Unconfirmed reports of negative Treatment and Refining charges in the copper market imply that one or more smelters are so desperate for copper concentrates they will take losses to secure material.
• The pricing may also imply a substantial deficit is coming at us in the copper market.
• It is also quite possible that a couple of smelters might have to close due to a scarcity of available concentrates
• We speculate: if a Chinese smelter had sold copper ahead into the futures market, it might need to ensure it produces copper, even at a loss, to avoid having to buy metal back in the market.
• News yesterday on the closure of a number of copper mines in the DRC following the seizure of lorries carrying copper concentrate which were also found be to be loaded with Uranium may be a factor.
• Pricing: We see copper prices breaking through $10,000/t as the market starts to appreciate the significant of a smelter paying negative Tc/Rc rates

Any share dealing could be classed as gambling. Just varying degrees of risk. It all depends on whether you can draw a line under a losing position and start again. Many have watched AAZ here for years and years. I think most have an opinion that AAZ is as reliable as any. Hence, people are continually overweight here. The difference is that with share dealing, it can be a painful watch if you are losing as opposed to a horse race is over is an instant.Nobody knows which way a share price will go. Often, there is no logic to a downward swing, but people can only take an educated decision to invest and at what level of risk, using whatever tools are needed.Based on the latest RNS, I do think the odds are more in favour of an upwards movement rather than a downward move.Who knows?I am also all in. It worked for me before. Fingers crossed it happens again.JW
