09/6/2022 07:33 | LLB Is Electro-winning something AAZ could adopt or are the IP rights zealously guarded? Maybe some kind of commercial arrangement where the payments [spread over time?] to the 'donor' are substantially less than the added margin, over flotation, is feasible? Ditto ELIX, though i suppose that won't be on offer. Whatever, Zafar offers the opportunity to hone efficiencies, then roll out to Garadagh etc. The zinc circuit especially. Suppose Demirli [Kashen] plant could also be a model, should AAZ get their hands upon it, the next year or 3..... That's assuming AAZ can replace whatever gear has been stripped out of it by the departed Base Metals [Vallex] operatives . | 2sporrans

08/6/2022 19:56 | ANGL is another one that has dropped big time after fantastic news. I couldn’t see that magnitude of drop for the quality of news and opportunity. | digger18
08/6/2022 18:00 | Wan I can't see any GAP in May. I see a bear channel. No advice. BWTFDIK | sideshowbull
08/6/2022 17:37 | Wan my average selling pirice varied over a few weeks. I sold between £1.30 and £1.20. I did informe you when I sold. I did hold back 10K shares. Now started to top up again. Changing the subject. I today bought into AGL. I think the CO's interview was downbeat. Let's see if it gets bought out in the future. I also learned a bit more about IGR. They missed the last Xmas with their products. They are sitting on stock in warehouses etc. So I am hoping for a much better future next year. This one could end up being a 2/3 bagger for me hopefully. It used to trade around £6 in the past. Like they say "Every little helps". I won't top up on PUR now until we get news as to how the mill and the mine are performing. Anglo Ashanti gave them $31 million. That gives me hope that they know things will kind of work out. Hence my two small investments in PUR and IGR. Wan I am no teacher about the stock market. You never master the stock market but experience and gut feeling with a lot of luck as well helps. I just came to your aid in the past when no others were prepared to do so. It is just a part of my character. You have come a long way Wan and I am very proud of you. You are a very good caring person with a lot of intelligence. Don't ever knock yourself down. You have much better teachers here like Mat,DP, KS,Bumpa etc. Far too many for me to name all. So wishing everyone luck in whatever you are invested in. ATB all and NAI regarding any investments I mention. GLA. | bwana4

08/6/2022 15:14 | Hi Wan I managed to do another top up just now for AAZ. Cost me just over 92 P. Good price I think. I looked at the chart as good I could and I feel the 90P gap was closed yesterday. | bwana4
08/6/2022 14:48 | LLB/Bleepy Thanks LLB. A worthwhile listen, on a few scores. Getting environmental consents is holding up new developments everywhere it seems. There's an irony, in that copper is fundamental to low carbon/methane energy generation. This development hiatus is a virtually sure fire accelerant to copper prices, both for spot and long term contracts; on top of a macro [demand] evolution that supply will be hard pressed to satisfy in any event. AAZ build its own solar and maybe wind facility? Well, it might pay off Bleepy; an option perhaps to sell any surplus via the grid, as AAZ is connected. I wonder if GoA will pursue an large scale expansion of such for nation as a whole; AAZ benefiting from lower prices and very stable, reliable supply from the grid; as a free rider? Azerbaijan, with all its sun, might go the next step and become a big Green Hydrogen producer; a long term project though. That new poly-metalic 'splitting' technology [Elex? Alex??]would be a boon for AAZ. Didn't Senor Lavandeira talk of 90% extraction of copper, zinc, lead.... v about 70% currently, even using additional [zinc etc] circuit technology? Perhaps, as in Iberia, there's plenty of well educated youngsters in Azerbaijan, looking for a good career with a good employer that has decades of growth ahead of it? Interesting that Atalaya, with this 2040+ production horizon and expansion plans, is also talking of sustaining its dividend. Did i hear 30-35% of free cash flow? | 2sporrans
08/6/2022 14:21 | Still nothing on the ratification - downtrend on the chart still intact, despite the recent bounce. | yasx
08/6/2022 13:16 | Stagflation inbound, but we knew that did we not, but just how far can or dare the MPC go as buying of goods is already slowing down, and wage demands turn into industrial actions adding fuel to the fire..? | laurence llewelyn binliner

08/6/2022 12:46 | If the ore is higher than the plant and has clear line of sight, then gravity will pull the full buckets down and haul the empty buckets up, and generate some free electricity into the bargain BTW, I found out recently that SW was chief geologist at some of the Oxus sites. I was chatting to one of the directors of PXC about it and he spoke very highly of Steve's skills. | donald pond
08/6/2022 12:39 | #Bleepy, I was particularly interested in his macro rationale and long term outlook for Copper, givng us a very nice set of circumstances to scale into with Zafer from 2023 as the bigger CAs are hammered out, then we can get into them too.. Gold, Silver, Copper, Zinc, Moly in the near future and a 5 way win.. | laurence llewelyn binliner
08/6/2022 12:25 | Katsy, I suspect d-p is wondering if gravity can be used to assist moving ore around. I feel the engineers at AAZ have demonstrated their skills in coming up with the most efficient way of getting something done, and we can rely upon them to continue to do so. And then in the afternoon they can sort out the NHS! :¬) | lefrene
08/6/2022 12:13 | Cable car systems have been used successfully in the past on mines all around the world. However in today's mining world where they have the extract tonnes of rock for those few grams of metals I'm not sure that would be feasible nowadays. | katsy
08/6/2022 12:11 | Does anyone have a view on the Colombian election wrt Libero? | zangdook
08/6/2022 12:09 | I'm not sure on the topography between Zafer and the plant at Gedabek, but if there is a height differential might they be able to use a bucket and pulley system? I'm sure they are looking at every way of minimising costs. | donald pond
08/6/2022 12:08 | Thank you for the link Mattjos. Perhaps one is biased by the comfort factor when one see's others confirming one's own views. For those with less time, start 20 minutes in. One has to wonder for just how much longer this lunacy can keep going before it blows up. The one sure thing is that it will blow up, it's only the timing that's unknown. This all goes back to Clinton rescinding the Glass-Steagall Act circa 1981, and the reckless greed of major Banks ever since. The latest culmination being in the Repo-Market hiatus of 17-9-19, essentially a global banking crash, that has so far been propped up by $ trillions of new currency being created, plus the FED buying up the USA stock market. We are going to see the biggest crash in all history when the US dollar loses credibility. | lefrene
08/6/2022 11:49 | Class act indeed whilst AL are doubling their output Aaz have designs on quadrupling theirs. Might Aaz contemplate supplementing their energy needs with a solar/wind farm as climate change and energy costs make it a prudent choice. | bleepy |
