Short boring week YasX (in the markets at least). Sun is shining and Half Term week.

However, that aside, the AAZ Monthly Candles chart shows the pressure has bubbled up again, such that the price is just about at this 157p level again

Perhaps let gold revalue and then use new digital currencies based on gold, to then tackle the currently unrepayable fiat debt mountain? A digital currency that did a 'bitcoin' sounds like a wheeze worth trying, since we have long stepped through the 'Looking Glass' anything is perhaps worth a try. Basel III would seem to be the starting gun. You'd think gold would be well past $2000 again by now.

LLB, I do wonder if gold is finally going to be allowed to re-set to it's non manipulated value, and by so doing effectively devalue lots of fiat currencies whose central banks then may use gold in their vaults to pay down fiat debt? Or at least use revalued gold as some sort of instrument to reduce debt in fiat terms?

yasX, AAZ has been stunningly cheap since the war ended, if it were bottles of Chablis at one third normal price it would soon get bought up.

Surprised by the lack of interest here given the price of gold.

Absolutely wan. There are huge strides being made on many fronts now.
My wife benefitted from one such recent advance (a new drug) when she beat breast cancer 3 years ago. AGL have a device (parsortix) which offers advancement on so many fronts, as it really could revolutionise the early detection of cancer and/or the ability to properly target the correct treatment to each individual cancer. Many types of cancer too it seems.

#gutterhead, POG tickling along very nicely at almost 1920 now, the DXY weakness seems the driver..Basel111 is only 4 weeks out now and gold on the balance sheet is valued at tier 1 and 100% unlike the paper gold contracts currently held, which IMO has to be a demand driver for physical going forward..? deliveries have to be ramping up now, it can not all be left to the 28th...?AFAIAA, Investment banks have to hold 10% of their debt book in tier 1 assets now, cash/gold and are stress tested on those criteria..?

PTAL numbers out KS :-) Cheers Wan :-)

Manuel Pablo Zuniga-Pflucker, President and Chief Executive Officer, commented
"Q1 2021 was a great quarter in many ways. From a strategy standpoint it was prudent that the Company shored up its liquidity position before undertaking material operations with pace. The Company is now on solid footing from a liquidity, risk, and safety standpoint and if firmly focused on achieving operational excellence in 2021. We are now in a Brent oil price environment where, subject to such conditions continuing, wells only need to produce approximately 280,000 - 300,000 barrels to payout full cycle, which in some cases, can happen in two to three months. The Company's advancement on a risk, finance, and operational standpoint this quarter was impressive, and we will continue this positive momentum throughout 2021, to the benefit of all stakeholders."
