Anyone know about blue jay mining (JAY)? Someone recommended them to me the other day. I will be doing some research on them this week but thought I would check in here

Hi odsjp

I'm again sticking with KR1.

I suspect crypto will sidetrack for a while but I'm sure DeFi is coming and the rises seen so far will be dwarfed. I think continued institutional adoption will be balanced by FUD. KR1 have so many fingers in so many pies and analysing etherscan this week I think 3 more investments are soon to be announced.

Kusama parachain auctions could start any day and (although undoubtably some already priced-in) this will mean a huge boost to participating projects and the DOT/KSM ecosystems. Could be history in the making.

To hedge my bets I'll also choose Avacta - news could land at any time.

So please can I go 50:50 KR1:AVCT

I forgot our monthly competition results are also due (last Friday of the month)

So this is the competition where you chose one share at the beginning of the year and the winner will be the one that has increased (percentage wise) the most by 31st Dec.

There have been a few movements with crypto (KR1 and ARB) still in the top two spots but closely followed by ITX, FAR, TERN and ALGW.

Investing in the WAN-10 (top 10) would be a 181% profit, the WAN-20 a 116% profit and in all of them a 35% profit.

A few choices for the competition this week.
ORPH, CF speaks on Tuesday, always does wonders for the share price hopefully this time as well.
SPC lots of rumours about news on Tuesday about the takeover off, probably, a medicinal cannabis company
LRE looks so like its going to bounce.
CBOX new one for me had a good run last week also has a presentation on this week. May go well again though I think it may have had its little run as I dont see any major news out apart from lockdown ending and queues outside their shops which even I have seen and AXA buying a few more as per an RNS.

I will put it all on ORPH though 6th week in a row I selected them and only one up week, last week, feel I have broken the bad run :0)

Thanks dingeur

What we always expected and makes great sense.... Turkish companies getting involved in development in the liberated areas.

It's all systems go over the last few days with information being released....

Aliyev meeting with the Turkish Minister of Transport and Infrastructure and his delegation.....Zangazur corridor to Nakhichevan....on trend.az.....also on aa.com.tr.... 2.5 years mentioned for construction of railway and road highway.

Looks like our Ordubad survey work and drilling will be cranking into overdrive shortly.

many many thanx to On Target for posting this on the main EVG thread;

Interview with Gregory Bailey CEO of Juvenescence 29/5/21

8:50-10:10 talks about their (Evgen's) Sulforaphane supplement
17:00 onwards talks about pricing/volume strategy - big bucks.
Wonder what the royalties are, because this could be a big earner for EVG.

thanx OT
Cheers

21.04.2021 | This extension has been ratified by the Government of Azerbaijan during on-going negotiations for the Company to increase its land under concession in Azerbaijan both through enlargement of its existing contract areas and the licencing of new areas. This will enable the Company to expand its operations in the country. It is expected these negotiations will be concluded shortly and I look forward to updating shareholders..

Tick Tock... :o)

@goldrush
They’re CA’s in the liberated territories. Who knows if ours has been signed off at the same time. It’s a possibility I guess. It’s clearly getting close now... but then we know that from the company anyway.

For next week, can I please split 50:50 AVCT and ACP.

ACP had an update late on Friday (placing) and I think these funds will see them through to a financing deal on the graphite project once the long overdue mining license arrives - anticipating it might have a good week after the strong buying on release of the RNS.

RBD is letting me down, seems there is no appetite for people buying in for the EWT so I will drop it for now.

AVCT surely news on the CE marking next week?

I am sticking with KDNC next week.

Expecting the stake in the transformative Amapa iron ore project to be announced as early as Tuesday (as per the information in the links below at the end) and the deal with the bank creditors to be signed. KDNC market cap is current around 40M GBP which also includes a 10% stake in EMH (market cap of 117M GBP)

This will give KDNC a 27% stake in this project. Prior to its sale in 2012 Anglo American valued its 70% stake in the Amapá Project at US$866 million (100% 1.2 billion) and after impairment valued it at US $462m in its 2012 Annual Report ( 100% US $600m)

In addition it has 1.39m tonnes of iron ore to be shipped waiting at the port.

• Initial revenue from the project is anticipated to be generated from the sale of the iron ore stockpile currently located at the Port of Santana , Brazil. Two shipments have already happened with a third also expected to be announced next week to initially realise in total a $10M profit as agreed with the judicial review to pay small creditors

• Based on available historic mine plans and an independent consultant review it is expected that at full production the Amapa Project has a mine life of 14 years and at full capacity is targeting to produce up to 5.3 Mt of Iron Ore per annum.

• Updated Mineral reosurce of 185 million tonnes at 39% Fe.

• The ore is beneficiated to 65% Fe Pellet Feed and 62% Fe Spiral Concentrate.

• Potential for the mine and existing infrastructure to be brought to market swiftly with mining and processing anticipated to restart in 2021 subject to the grant of the necessary permits, regulatory consents and project financing.

• Cadence is able to acquire a significant share of the mine (up to 27% of the issued share capital of PBA) for a staged equity investment of US$ 6 million and has a first right of refusal to acquire up to 49%.

From the link above
"The Agreement with Indo Sino is to invest in and acquire up to a 27% of a joint venture company Pedra Branca Alliance Pte. Ltd. (“JV Co”). On approval of the Judicial Review Process (“JRP”) and the transfer of equity of Amapá to the JV Co the JV Co will own 99.9% of the Amapá Project. Should Indo Sino seek further investors or an investment in the JV Co the agreement also provides Cadence with a first right of refusal to increase its stake to 49% in the JV Co"

Morning,

Wan - re: TKO - I've had no dialogue with the PM chaps about TKO, but I know it is on the radar.

ALGW - what to say? The interim results are bare bone with no real commentary. Only 10 pages, compared to the annual results which span 60 pages. This is just the bare minimum financial info disclosed for statutory reporting purposes. Obviously it contains none of the results of the new acquisition, so just shows a small improvement on prior period financials due to the growth in the Blackrock Alpha Growth Fund - the revenues on that seem about right given the 50:50 partnership, fee rate and size of the fund. Whilst it is disappointing not to get any forward guidance, I suspect that will come soon with the next trading update that hopefully confirms progress with the RCF. Possibly a short-sighted sell off on Tuesday, but there is nothing in these results that changes the investment picture.
