I think it could be a good week for ARB and AVCT this week. ARB as it dropped going into the end of the week and I expect a bounce and AVCT due to the government CV19 testing tender.

I respect Rick Rule's commentary. Doug Casey is another end-of-the-world-is-nigh person. Funny how they go quiet when POG falls and ramp up the volume when POG rises. Suspect that's part of the plan to boost tip sheet and book sales!

The problem with most of the hardcore gold bugs like Macleod, Schiff and Rickards is that they are always predicting the end of the world (end of the USD) and $10k+ gold prices. The time frames they give are always wrong or they do not commit to them.

Do not get me wrong I believe gold will be going a lot higher but the guys mentioned above are a bit extreme in their message. I think Rick Rule provides a much more grounded assessment as to the current situation on PMs.

kirk,

Thanks, that is weird - LSE site shows 82m shares in issue, but latest RNS refers to 203m shares (Jan 21)?

ADVFN has them at £285m market cap, so that suggests LSE is just out of date..

odsjp,

Many thanks - LSE shows Pensana Plc with a market cap of £115m currently, not £240m - is that wrong?

Wan and any others holding Gold / Silver miners perplexed by current action / weakness.

Great interview to calm the nerves ..

Only wish I'd heard his previous weakness call back in October.

I will make sure I keep tabs on his updates from here

same hymn sheet, after all it is Sunday......lol.

It looks like we are positioned at the well in the figure, to the left. We want to move to the position 3rd from left.

The fact that they found any oil is a big plus.
Before we started drilling on this block, they thought they were looking for oil.
When the wells came up with gas, everyone switched their thoughts to that.

If Royson or Kraken come up as oil.....sp is going to go crazy.

The general concensus is that Basel 111 can't be kicked down the road yet again (but don't hold your breath) and hopefully that will signal the clearing of the mists in terms of PM prices and manipulation.
Interesting times indeed, or as I prefer to call it - uncharted space :)

This is a bit long, a former auditor points out that the 10 year bond is falling price and being aggressively shorted, this is causing a spike again in the repo market, since the 10 year bond is the most widely pledged security, and that bond is no longer being seen as safe by would be lenders. It seems we are back where we were in Sept 2019, only worse. Is the whole thing going to blow up? Then throw in Basle III that kicks in on 1st June (if they don't delay it again) and it would seem the game is going to end badly and soon. Has the moment of reassertion of precious metals almost arrived? How much longer can AAZ remain at this silly price?

The vid is quite long you might want to skip bits, but he does very clearly explain what's happening. I also didn't know that 10yr treasuries get rehypothicated, apparently three 'owners' can all claim to own the same note! Thus the balance sheets of many of these banks are just fiction. It begs the question why wasn't this lunacy sorted in the aftermath of 2008? Will China shortly realise it's moment of introducing a gold backed digital Renimbi, and swiftly become the World reserve currency? Interesting times are on the doorstep.

It appears we are singing from the same hymn sheet, after all it is Sunday :)
My interpretation is that the 68ft of net pay in the "bonus zone" between 9750-10003ft wasn't in the sweet spot in the Chinook 1 location and just needs to be moved slightly up dip. Might be wrong but in the overall scheme of things it's not that relevant on the down side. It's not dis-similar to the JOG Verbier well in the NS. They found water and then sidetracked up dip to discover 25 million barrels.
It appears they are now testing the 180 ft of net pay in the Gr7bc Herrera sands between 8850-9750 ft and we await the results with interest as it appears to be oil bearing. That leaves the main target of 341 ft of net pay in the Gr7a Herrera sands between 8154-8710ft as the main gas bearing zone.
It appears to be a classic water. oil, gas situation.

Hi KS,
I don't have any broker notes for PRE. We are basically waiting for the BFS and business plan. However, it has financing sorted with a Chinese company but wouldn't be surprised to see this changing.

The real money in rare earths is in the processing to get the final materials (mainly NdPr) for use in wind turbines and electric vehicles. Mountain Pass (an American RE miner) digs out the rare earths and then send to China for processing. They get a fraction of the amount that NdPr sells for because of this and are reliant on China. The American Department of Defence have signed a contract with Lynas (OZ RE miner and processor) to build two separation plants so they will be no longer reliant on China (as rare earths also needed for military uses). MP is valued at $6Bn and PRE will be bigger (in terms of processing and reserves)
Lynas has a market cap of around $5Bn and PRE has a current market cap of around 240M GBP. I can see PRE having a market cap 10x bigger in the next few years as it will have an end to end supply chain mining in Africa, taking it to an Atlantic port and then shipping it to the Humber for processing

RBW and PRE have been the saviour of my portfolio this year which overall is up just over 15% this year. I know it is not crypto gains but I think I missed that party.

captain JTK,

Ref 064.

That would be my interpretation as well......and i would just about bet that it will be a question the 10th.

But as said before.........they are saying, if they move 1000ft, they will be in a better position (optimal structural position) to find oil. The reservoir that this section of the well intersects is not a right off.

yes Chris you are right AAZ is a belter of a long term investment and I am already overweight. The dividend alone is enough for me to hold and the prospects beyond 2021 look great.
