Yes - the prior ATH figure has held for a few weeks now.

Mind you, Powell's Jackson Hole speech at 2pm tomorrow will set the trend.

Strangely, I think it was the gym session in the afternoon that energised me into not wanting to sleep!

ACP chart is beginning to look like a classic Elliot Wave chart, I think? Wave 1 started around 12 months ago, this looks like wave 3, or possibly wave 5?

btw just seen a piece on bloomberg which reported that Gold ETF's now out-value all the gold central banks hold (with the exception of the FED) ,,,, its saying that the 'picks & shovel' manufacturers did the best out of the original physical gold rush's back in the day & that now the ETF fees are their modern day equivalents,,,,, interesting :-) LOL

vaults are running out of space to store all the ETF gold!!!

PIMCO saying gold is still cheap!!!

New gold rush only just starting, can the ETF's cope with a massive increase in demand that will come with any further $ weakness!!!

may see a move from Gold into silver also!!

the worlds gone nuts!!! LOL

O/T - Yes, I can highly recommend magnesium if you ever need a good night's sleep. It helps lower the stress hormone cortisol and relaxes muscles too. I take it in a combination with zinc and vitamin B6 (commonly together in a supplement called ZMA).

Often gives vivid dreams, which is cool!

Yes - I have a mate who has taken the kids to a resort in Turkey.

I assume there is no gain there as it is all inclusive and they will just price the week in sterling.

The gain would be to try and stay and eat locally to benefit from the E/R.

Brazil would be the other choice to holiday.

Took a magnesium supplement last night to aid with sleep - one side effect is crazy dreams due to the increased REM sleep you get.

Anyway, in my dream last night gold had been dragged down to around $800 an oz.. but then started fighting back..

I was staring at a monitor watching a live gold price chart as it started shooting up through the thousands and eventually over $400k an ounce! that was as high as the graph in my dream chart went so it was just showing a horizontal line at that point as I was laughing with incredulity...

Back to reality this morning - $1,917. Not quite so crazy yet..

not sure AAZ is a party stock anymore MF, it's all grown up and building its wealth portfolio for the long term,,, it just needs the gold bull run to continue in order for it to execute its plans, whatever they are :-) LOL,,,, :-) :-)

as RR said in that interview, it's not that interesting that WB or his underlings have bought into gold,,,, that doesn't fit their criteria for investment,,,

what is interesting is that they bought into a business that looks like it'll give a better long term return on their investment than stocks like Coke!!!!

I think Argentina had an interest rate of close to 40% at one point last year. It does not matter what the interest rate is when you are in a hyperinflation it just can never keep up.
