Thanks to odsjp for a great competition which opens ones eyes to a lot of different investment strategies and picks.I must admit I am happy with a 19% return over 3 weeks from my picks but ....would love to get closer to Bazboa and ilostthelot this week 😀😀

Like a few of us, I must go for PXC. The results should come out this week....and we have been waiting for these due to Covid enforced delays at the lab.

Indications from the PXC Team , from photographs on Social Media etc are encouraging but nothing beats assayed results. If these confirm decent results then a large resource could be realised....and PXC would be revalued accordingly....

It's in Idaho, best mining friendly jurisdiction in the world with environmental permitting in hand....Fingers crossed for good drill assays etc. IMHO.

Hi odsjp

Despite me thinking PM shares still have a week or two of consolidating to do yet I will plump for SRB. The CV19 situation is improving in Brazil and possible license news due should help SRB outperform.

Azerbaijan, UK mull Armenia’s latest border provocation
21 August 2020 13:12 (UTC+04:00)993

Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and the UK Minister for European Neighborhood and the Americas of the United Kingdom Wendy Morton discussed development of mutual cooperation and recent Armenian provocation on the border, the ministry said on August 20.

During the telephone conversation, Bayramov informed the British minister about the latest military provocation committed by the Armenian armed forces in the Tovuz direction of the Azerbaijan-Armenia state border. He pointed out that this provocation clearly showed that the Armenian leadership seeks to obstruct the negotiation process on the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

In turn, Morton emphasized the significance of decreasing tensions in the region. Wendy Morton is also Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State of the United Kingdom.

Furthermore, the ministers held discussions on a number of areas of the bilateral cooperation agenda and prospects for the development of mutual cooperation.

It should be noted that at the beginning of the Armenian provocation on the border, on July 13, the House of Commons of the UK Parliament prepared a Motion that called on the UK Government to condemn the recent actions of Armenia which represent a serious hindrance to the progress of the peace process and which have violated international law as well as the ceasefire agreement signed in 1994.

The House of Commons also urge the UK Government to support the call for the OSCE Minsk Group to investigate thoroughly to prevent the current military action escalating into an all-out war, and further calls on the UK Government to urge for the withdrawal of Armenian military forces from the occupied territories of Azerbaijan as stated in UN Security Council resolutions adopted in 1993.

On July 6, Azerbaijan and the United Kingdom discussed bilateral energy cooperation in a video conference held between co-chairs of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on economic cooperation, Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov and Parliamentary Representative of the Secretary of State and Minister of Export Graham Stuart.

On May 1, the UK Minister Wendy Morton discussed the negotiations process of the settlement of the Karabakh conflict with the former Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov.

The cross border clashes with Armenia started on July 12 after Armenian forces shelled Azerbaijan's positions in Tovuz, Azerbaijan's strategically-important district on the border. The Armenian attack killed 12 Azerbaijani servicemen, including an army general, as well as a 76-year-old civilian. Armenian forces retreated after suffering losses in Azerbaijan's retaliation.

very well done ilost and a very wise move I believe,,, risk management is essential to stay in this game long term, of that I am sure,,, who knows what can happen to syme next week, let alone the markets in general, or even the price of PM's for that matter :-) :-) Cheers Wan :-)

I'll stick with syme even though I've sold over half my holding! I 5 bagged in a week. I wasn't prepared to risk losing that much money on what was a punt. Its alot easy playing with a virtual portfolio 🤑

So much for the conservative approach on taking AA so back to original plan of picking something that might fly.
Its between a PM miner or Pharma.
I think gold may well bounce back again next week but I am going AVCT as I am hoping the recent run up is based on a testing update RNS appearing next week with good news. Add in the fact that at long last the lies of having a vaccine ready for this winter are being discarded by those who rule us and now the only obvious way to manage the virus via testing is becoming obvious and gain more news headlines.
Will this happen next week? Not a chance now I have chosen AVCT.

I am of the same opinion as Matt. GOLD will drop to $1850 area, before it starts its next leg up.
As for AAZ? risk trading or hold. One thing is sure, this share price will be a lot higher than it is now come the new year. AIMO.

I'm for PXC of course. There couldn't be anything else for me. It's going to be an interesting week, with the results from the Red Star assays due to be reported in an RNS on Monday or latest Tuesday, perhaps together with some additional results from the Empire open pit gold mine. These results will give shape to the Red Star mineralisation, as for the moment they have 2 points at either end, so these numbers should show how good the vein looks in the middle, and the depth. If the numbers are good, then we're that much closer to derisking the project. Exciting times.

That is sitting on the fence ! As correlation, our share price might go up or might go down. My tuppence worth. We only have 1/2weeks left to buy at this price range. Then the August Bank Holiday will be out of the way. The rich / movers and shakers will reappear and it will be time for a positive News Release. Now, you can have a laugh at my expense. I get it wrong as much as I get it right.

I am staying with RBW for another week. I expect an RNS this week as there was a trading update this time last year as well as a JORC statement is also overdue.

Pensana another African rare earth explorer/miner currently has a market capitalisation of £77M and is in a similar position to RBW in that it is planning to do a BFS but build the mine with Chinese money and it currently does not produce any rare earths whereas RBW does some trial mining.

RBW has a market cap of £16M so almost five times cheaper. Will this be the week that I pull the rabbit out of the hat and emulate Ilostthelot with SYME.

Hopefully we will also get an update with PXC this week.

I am glad you are enjoying this.
