08/8/2020 15:32 | Hi oakey1, Not a company I have heard of, but just scanning the annual results they look to be growing very well over the last few years. I note that they are quite leveraged though i.e borrowings to net debt ratio. That may be ok though, as they seem to have long-term contracts with fixed prices, giving stability to cash flows. They appear to be growing earnings faster than their cost of capital (3.9%) so look ok to me. Look on the surface to be quite a well run business, but do they have any significant risks tied up to particularly large contracts/developmen My 2 cents. | ![]() king suarez

08/8/2020 14:53 | Eh up I have a noob question I invested in GLO quite some time ago...43% up and on a yield of 8% (paid quarterly) It’s very unloved in the forums and tipping sites and I have no idea why...it barely gets one post a month on the forums....I think it’s a smashing stock but have I missed something for it to be not on anyone’s radar it seems....if a more pro investor could take a look I’d be very thankful...I’m not thinking of selling as it’s held it’s divi and indeed increased it 10% through Covid ....just baffled why it doesn’t get talked about at all tinternet wide....TIA | ![]() oakey1
08/8/2020 12:55 | Could you stick me in for AMC please. One day even a dog share can come good. | ![]() callmebwana
08/8/2020 12:52 | I will go for PXC. Confirmatory assays for Red Star diamond drilling programme in Idaho are eagerly awaited....hopefully next week....Hardman Valuation model of Red Star alone at current silver price amounts to over double current share price. This excludes any valuation figure for JORCed resources at the nearby Empire Mine of near $2 billion of gold, copper and silver with drilling results and model metallurgy tests also expected in the next few weeks. These drilling results at Red Star could have a significant effect on the share price IMHO. | ![]() goldrush
08/8/2020 12:45 | I'll have a go with CNG,,, seems to have been a noticeable pickup in interest last week and although it's up to its eyeballs in debt, coupled with unfavoured jurisdiction, terrible investor relations, truly awful communications, total disregard for shareholders, really bad borrowing rates,, a slating from EK,,,, etc etc,,, need I go on,,,, it should be producing a lot of gold & profits.... :-) LOL Cheers Wan :-) free stock charts from uk.advfn.com | wanobi

08/8/2020 09:49 | EQT for me, the placing gradually being put behind us and the patent infringement should go away as well in time, some signs of life this week. A good week and an ath for my portfolio which given my two biggest holdings are way off their own ath is rather hopeful. | ![]() fozzie
08/8/2020 09:30 | Stick me down for ARK. Whilst not a fan of John Teeling his company Arkle might be right place, right time - drilling scheduled this month with their Glencore backed partner on the Stonepark zinc/lead project, next door to Glencore’s massive Pallas Green. Tiny mkt cap, started moving a bit Friday. | ![]() bumpa33
08/8/2020 09:28 | odsjp I like the table. You are going to bring out the competitive side in me now! For next week I will take ORPH. Mostly around the chart set up as it looks primed to hit the 16p level again. | ![]() brasso3

07/8/2020 21:48 | I will jump in next week with Pogue's second choice POG. After the RGM on Monday I also expect it to move higher if the old board is reinstated otherwise I imagine it will go down significantly, at least initially. I believe it is fundamentally undervalued when compared with another Russian gold miner POLY. This will produce a bit over twice the amount of gold as POG but it valued at £9.5B with three times the amount of debt. POG is valued at 1.3B so you could argue it could be at least double the current price if it gets its affairs in order. Lets see. My choice from last week was Rainbow Rare Earth (RBW) and it went up 11% but have given up waiting for the JORC statement. It is over a month late which I guess is Covid related but it is still annoying. Again it has a third the market capitalisation of Pensana Rare Earths so again think it will move significantly higher in the short term. Good luck everyone for next week, I will post the starting table on Sunday evening. If I don't hear from everyone I will put their same share in for the next week unless you tell me otherwise. | ![]() odsjp
07/8/2020 21:37 | Just got back from the beach, so a bit late with posting the results. Congratulations C0lin1 with ALT, a 23.91% increase so you start next week in pole position with a balance of £12,391. Second place to Goldrush with Condor Gold going up 17.53% and thirdly Actonovator with Panther Metals with an increase of 14.65%. 07/8/2020 19:46 | From Stocko today, by Michael Taylor"Anglo Asian Mining (AAZ)Gold has been a big talking point in recent weeks. It has smashed through the $2,000 mark, and there is much talk about it being 'extended' and overbought. Short term, that could be true. But when price does something it hasn't done in many years then it is a sign of things changing. As Old Turkey said in one of my favourite books Reminiscences of a Stock Operator: It's a bull market, you know! This was in reference to potential retracements along the way. No price goes up in a straight line, and stocks will continue to gyrate both ways whichever trend they may be in.I hold a long position in Anglo Asian Mining (LON:AAZ) , and I would like to add to this position once it breaks out of the all time high. Jack has written an excellent piece on Anglo Asian Mining here, and it was his article that convinced me to take a small position to monitor. As the stock looks to break out, I'd like to take a serious position. If the gold bull run is going to continue, then being long a highly cash generative and low-cost producing miner doesn't seem like a bad idea." | ![]() mattjos
07/8/2020 17:42 | I think I might have made a profit this week on my competition entry but borderline lol better than last week any way. Reason I am posting is I want to get in quick, my wife always says that. I see 3 good possibilities of a decent run next week in order of probability AA POG and ORPH so I am going for AA please. Reason is a bid at 40p probably 45p is in the wings and the shares just started moving today hoping for a rerate to 40p plus next week. POG is obvious and is probably a 70-30 bet that it will rise depending on how the vote goes. I will buy some on Monday morning I think, probably a lot of people with the same thought mind you lol ORPH I am pretty sure the seller is gone and there are vague mumblings of a bidder for Imutex, very, very vague though but could be a very good rise if they become clearer | ![]() pogue

07/8/2020 16:28 | I'm no techno Matt but make the observation that the 200day ma is about $1630 and some reversion to the mean is surely in order. While i don't expect any event or conjunction of circumstances that is likely to cause a reversion all the way to the 200dma, such as in March, another observation is that the last serious resistance on the upsurge was around $1790. Could ~$1800 become a new strong floor? I expect you will use some TA to calculate. Being lazy, i've not already looked to the Fibonacci retrace levels but expect you'll examine those as well as EW and other guides. | ![]() 2sporrans

07/8/2020 16:06 | US$ Basket, Monthly chart, suggests the US$ will try to stage a recovery from here but, I cant see it getting over 98 tops. Thereafter, looks to me like there could be some very significant downside so, am thinking the setup is for rest of August to see Gold form a downward consolidation pattern and some sort of a floor to develop during September/early October. From middle October is where the next (bigger) Gold move should start form. That's how I am reading the tea-leaves just now :-) | ![]() mattjos |
