Wan - STCM - I think they will announce the div and ex-div dates after the resolution is formally passed at the AGM on 8 July. Last year the dates were announced on the same day as the AGM results and the ex-div date was a week after the AGM, with div paid 2-3 weeks after ex-div, so expect same this year? = dates slightly later than prior year. Probably end of July dividend paid.

And yes, nearly 12% yield - which is well covered. As I have pointed out on the STCM thread - the div cost them $8.4m to pay (3p) last year and they had $20m operational cash flow. Same no. of shares in issue this year so will cost the company a similar amount. I expect if Covid-19 hadn't hit and caused caution regarding cement demand for 2020 then they would probably have increased the dividend a bit. I am anticipating/forecasting an increase after the bulk of the debt is repaid (most has a maturity date of Nov 21).

Pretty amazing to see that the value of shares traded here now is circa £250k/day .... 5 years ago it was often less than £10k per day.Whatever the perceived current dynamic, i think that is something really quite incredible - the collective pressing of Buy & Sell buttons equates to that quantum every day. Terrific success story & one that i believe still has much further to run.Could it be that in 5 years time the daily value of trades is £5m+? Spread will probably be 50p by then & mf will be apoplectic by then :-)
