wanobi, on the JTC thread a PENDRAGON2 mooted the idea of using worked out wells in the North Sea as storage sites, and claiming carbon credits for pouring oil back into the ground via these wells. A great wheeze if feasible.

I cannot see how the same situation will not arise with June WTI futures as happened with May futures. Maybe it won't be as drastic but there will be a big dump in the last few days. The people who want actual delivery of crude will wait until the last moments to get bargain prices.

Gold mining stocks AISCs will start to come down significantly now. AAZ have a printing press just like the FED! :)

wan - I'm fully expecting more fireworks towards the middle of May - similar to what we saw on the 20th April. The Saudi's are winning the war, sending many tankers to the US. Soon the US capacity will be full. WTI will go negative again I suspect, dragging Brent with it. Keep your powder dry on oilers. But there is going to be one heck of an opportunity when it's all played out.

I'm seeing an oil storage specialist on CNBC claiming there is now less that 1% storage left for oil globally,,, so now the fun starts and we shall see what happens,,,, what a situation, amazing moments in history.... Cheers Wan :-)

Pogue,

It has to be used early and in combination with 2 other things, one being zinc.

Rigger,

I am not 'ramming it down people's throat', as you accuse me of.

I was merely responding to the conspiracy theorist accusation by GoodGrief and of brain

washing by Brasso

Both those comments were designed to discredit a link that some would find useful.

I would not have commented further on the link I posted, and had no intention of

preaching.

Wan ,I am well over 200% in profit in AVCT. This is just the bigning of the climb IMO. My top up of the other day @66 P worked out well as well. The shares by the IIs were forward sold I think. £5 and above is not a dream either. All depends on what news we get.
All my gold investment in AAZ POG,PUR and TSG are doing fine too.
Bottom line of the portfolio is well up.
After all that is what counts. 😁

A US government study finds it does not work Mabel, even Trump struggling to deny it.

hxxps://www.thedailybeast.com/study-of-hydroxychloroquine-trump-promoted-coronavirus-drug-finds-more-deaths?source=articles&via=rss

President Trump was grilled Tuesday about his flogging of an anti-malaria drug as a coronavirus treatment after a government-funded study showed it didn’t help veterans and was associated with more deaths.
He dodged.
“I don’t know of the report,” he said at the daily briefing by the coronavirus task force. “Obviously there have been some very good reports and perhaps this one’s not a good report—but we’ll be looking at it.”
The research released earlier on Tuesday, which has not yet been peer-reviewed but was backed by the National Institutes of Health and the University of Virginia, is the latest evidence that hydroxychloroquine is not the magic bullet that Trump and his allies suggested it was.

Perhaps wrong choice of word there mabel 123, I didn't see what was posted, but the sentiment remains the same about what is appropriate, for the space in which one chooses to air something.

Mabel I don’t do confirmation bias and believe in free speech but I often switch off when something is rammed down my throat, usually government agendas or people telling me what’s good for ME!

By all means post a link, but then let people decide. You’ve done your bit highlighting something you think will be of interest; once you start preaching you will lose the “effect” of your desired intention.

Live and let live eh.

Wan stop stealing my line lol

Sorry lefrene - I was not aware I was shouting.

I merely posted some information that I thought might be of interest to some people

here and was treated to some labelling.

There's a first for everything, and this is the first time in 20 years as an Advfn

poster that I have been accused of 'inappropriate behaviour.'

Thanks for that.

Mabel

When I have a health concern I visit a website (forum) that focuses on health!

When I am looking for investment opportunities I come to websites (forums) like ADVFN!

You and your friends have already destroyed the Silver thread to the point where silver discussion is less than 10% of the content now. I would not visit a forum discussing heart disease and start talking about the benefits of owning gold!

Brasso,

I post it here because someone might just be interested in having their eyes opened about things that are VERY RELEVANT to both themselves and their loved ones.

I thank my lucky stars that my eyes were opened many years ago and have been able to enjoy the benefits of good health as a result of things like not having myself exposed on a yearly basis to toxins that were never designed for the human body in the first place.

I am soon to be 75 and I am surrounded by my peers who do exactly as they are told by TPTB and they suffer arthritis, chest infections, multiple allergies and a whole host of other medical problems.

It is no coincidence that I haven't seen a GP in 10 years and can still run to catch a bus.

mabel 123, if you enter the sitting the room you are there to sit, and not start shouting about why your dinner is not being served. It's just about appropriate behaviour in appropriate spaces. We know there's a huge fire, here we are mostly discussing the best appliances with which to deal with it.

baddeal,

It is because I want to KEEP my life and enjoy the benefits of being invested here that I am interested in such things.

I get the message, if I am to continue to benefit from the info that the more knowledgeable people post here, then I must not post anything that those who feel free to label me a conspiracy theorist object to.

It seems it is OK for some to keep whinging on about the spread though, apparently, which is of absolutely NO RELEVANCE to real investors.

Gold doesn't want to go below 1730. Gil Morales (look him up, he's a big investor guru) has been speculating about paper oil (not enough compared to physical) and paper gold (too much compared to physical). I think it is a matter of time before a few players simultaneously ask for physical delivery of a paper future and market goes mad.
