AAZ - via HL I can also sell 25000 shares at 87.6p online, so I guess there's more selling pressure than buying pressure, correct Bumpa? cheers Wan

I'd argue the opposite, glossy website to pull in the punters which is about where it ends.
What matters is what we do on the ground, not in cyberspace..

I think they have been too busy mining gold, building the company, organising their team, investing in plant/eqpt and making money to worry about window dressing-its not like they transact through their website.

zangdook, if this company was headed up by dubious persons with 'previous' for dodgy AiM activity your comments might carry a bit of validity, although I suspect that dodgy types are very slick with their online presentations.

I would think AAZ uses a third party for web services and has probably agreed a very keen price as that is their style. A day or two's hiatus over a refreshed webpage against the real world heavy lifting of getting a mine up and running, funding it with your own personal money and paying down £50mn debt in just two years is what counts, because that is the actual real world.

thanx Bamboo, appreciate your view, looking again my previous post with chart should have said 90p, not 80p (although I see support there also), which is exactly where we are now... I may buy some later in the day, cheers Wan

If any of you saw U.S. trade gap for last month you will wonder like me why the $ is worth anything at all, yes I know they have a vast store o bullion but at $55 thousand million a month defercit, they will have to pay it back at some point. and then gold will be in orbit.

"proper research" involves checking whether the company maintains its website as one of the principal means of keeping shareholders informed. I hope they haven't been working on a new website for over two years, and the fact that other pages are up to date suggests that's not the reason that page dates back to 2015-6. A financial calendar will normally include things like dividend dates, and since AAZ has just recently introduced a dividend, the failure to keep that page updated strikes me as odd. I've seen worse, but usually only with the kind of company I've learned to avoid. I'm glad to hear others think this oversight was an exception.

Re AAZ, all things being equal, I think support at 80 is too low a level .

Breakaway gap [27/10/2005] 85-90 has now been filled, but represents a good historical support zone.

There is also a bearing for a horizontal line [Bowl rim height] at 83 [2011].

Potential turn in share price 7-10/12/2018. No position.

thanx Bumpa, yes, my RED arrow is the resistance part of the line that's now become a support line marked by the green arrow.... from now on I'm going to use that colour convention, cheers Wan

this rally looks even more compelling in non-us$ price - blue line

also, worth noting the 2 price, 5 yr history

$ price went sideways; in other currency basket a temperate bull market ongoing.

so, when the us$ eventually resumes its long term weakness [obviously boosts pog as such] there ought to be a 'catch-up' boost to pog.

P.s. it’s a support line wan, it only becomes a resistance line when the share price is bumping along UNDER it...!

I think I'm happy with about 1,600 oz a week at circa $700 gross margin and no debts, and about £100millions worth of capital equipment. I feel I can forgive them a temporary blip with the website. :¬)

I also notice gold has firmed up again in to the $1240's

apologies if I'm boring people on here with my AAZ focus at the moment; its because I'm trying to decide when to buy some more and looking closely at the chart again today I see that now might just be the time as there is a weakish 90p resistance support line being adhered to.... RSI is back down, only alarm is MACD cross-over!!! Any thoughts out there on this, cheers Wan :-)
