13/10/2017 10:36 | Looks like cantor want some shares or delayed trades to come | jbe81
13/10/2017 10:34 | Gutterhead, time date and location to plan round majority of people going. | terropol
13/10/2017 10:25 | Terropol, subject to the date, count me in, thanks | gutterhead
13/10/2017 10:24 | Small top up first thing this morning. Paid Significantly more per share than my lowest purchase which justifies, in my opinion, the unaccounted value still to come; it’s not if but when. I did notice the lack of info in update of forward looking projection and take note of comments that a further imminent announcement may come (from people far brighter than myself!) I have a different co holding that also promises much but the big difference, is the lack of directors own investment compared to aaz; that’s what really sets this company apart. Financial commitment provides real energy and drive. | gutterhead
13/10/2017 10:19 | 4 year cup & handle about to break through? :) | sportbilly1976

13/10/2017 10:13 | Good Morning all. Great results today. Would people be interested in a shareholder dinner and chat about AAZ? I have just been there and could talk about life at the mine etc. I was at the mine for 2 days and looked at all operation. Great set up and run 100% professional. Any takers?? | terropol
13/10/2017 10:09 | What company can't afford to have happen is, like in 2010, any of the news to leak out via the Azeri press. That was a bit embarrassing for them & I am sure they would have learnt from that so, I do not think there will be long to wait for the Ops Update .... next week might well be considered appropriate timing. With the share price hovering just below the 35p level, it won't take much to blast through | mattjos
13/10/2017 10:02 | Trying to hop in and out of this now for a few pennies looks a much too risky strategy. The standalone Operations Update could come as early as next week.Having visited the site & seen for themselves, the Nomad will be readying their next note to coincide with the update & I am sure will have advised the merit of making the Ops Update in isolation shortly after the Production update news has been digested. This is the setup before the slam-dunk, imo | mattjos
13/10/2017 09:51 | This update is, in itself, excellent.Debt continues to reduce, UGUR is delivering to plan, Gosha is back in production & Gadir is also contributing. They are blending the UGUR ore with some of the existing stacked ore on site but, rightly, looking to maximise production of the higher value Gold at the expense of some Copper, for now. They would be rather daft not to go ahead with the new crusher now ... get it ordered now for installation ASAP next Spring.Similarly, if they 'bolt-on' additional Flotation tanks, say 25-30%, that is also sensible.Stacking additional UGUR ore to ensure adequate supplies throughout any extreme winter weather is very sensible & will ensure the FY target gets hit. With those points in-hand, it's about exploration, discovery & planning for a gangbuster 2018 | mattjos
13/10/2017 09:48 | I agree but I expect its all to do do with news flow, rather than cramming significant news in updates I expect significant news in its own rns. | celeritas
13/10/2017 09:41 | Agreed Matt | 2sporrans
13/10/2017 09:40 | Unlike all previous Quarterly updates, this one is specifically titled "Q3 Production Update" & not "Production & Operations Update"The content also is very specifically about just Production. There is quite clearly a further news piece being held back just now & that will be regarding Operations. To me that says it is of sufficient merit that it deserves, and the company will ensure, it gets a stand-alone RNS to make completely sure the market understands its significance. The NOMAD has already advised folk to keep watch for news about exploration/discover | mattjos

13/10/2017 09:18 | Maybe worth noting the drop in Copper concentrate production. Obviously none coming through the AL->SART stream since 1st Sept. as that all dedicated to Ugur gold [+silver]; zero copper. All copper prod. going through flotation. So take the Q3-Q2 Cc differential, just of the copper [some SART silver via the AL->SaRT] -166T *3 [assuming drop was all in Sept] = 498T So, ~500T less copper for Q4, extrapolating Sept. forward. On pro rate basis....~220T copper production for Q4 v Q2 actual of 716T. Guess that when the new crusher arrives, the flotation output can be jacked up substantially. CAPEX on additional flotation units looks on cards; investment will be well rewarded. On the Gold, note Cannonfodder's 250oz/day / Ugur. Isn't that ~30oz more than first 2-3 weeks? Great if they have achieved this so soon. Caution to factor in seasonality into annual projection. Hopefully the impact of winter will be far less this one coming due to the stockpiling endeavours, including some higher grade. But won't the heap leaching be impacted somewhat, even if the AL stream ain't? AAZ have kept their forecast for 2017GE in same 64 to 72k range. Was hoping range would narrow to e.g. 68 to 72 but guess they are just being conservative. | 2sporrans
13/10/2017 09:05 | Could well pop from here. 40 p only a hop skip and a jump away. Worth over 100 million market cap now. Hold tight and you will be rewarded. | ilostthelot

13/10/2017 08:34 | Ok monkeys , I have been bidding the offer all morning on these results and got the square root of nothing | catsick
13/10/2017 08:33 | All good, especially the September production. Confirmation on the production score really. Ditto the debt. $21.3-mn net, excluding Reza's $3.9-mn loan. But who didn't expect the pay down to continue as previous? For me though and I suspect for most here, it's a full, official update on the exploration and development + resource that we await. I was hoping for something here but will just have to wait a little longer. Guess that's good as will be more advanced, fuller picture we get the later the news date is cut. Nice to have the different goodies in 2 discrete packages. Note the share price is nudging up a tad now; always welcome. | 2sporrans
13/10/2017 08:30 | Expecting operations and exploration update to follow on... | bleepy
13/10/2017 08:15 | wow, debt is coming down fast, whats that now under £19m. | celeritas |
