Sterling under pressure after BOE Comments today. XAUGBP reacting accordingly |
shut the front door!!! ,,, someone got 50K away at 110.55 :-) :-) :-) |
Boe has cut interest rates by .25%. They are still worried about inflation and only the other day I found out that inflation doesn't take into account tax rises. So when we're all paying more CT this April to pay for the employer NI rises, remember that ins't inflation. |
Could get very tasty. |
I’ll look that up now, thanks KS - last week I was seriously considering chopping my leg off with a hacksaw… |
Look up hip flexor triangles as an exercise to help sort the back out - it has helped me.
The hip flexors help stabilise the pelvis and when they are weak/inactive it puts excess strain on the hamstrings (which become tight) to do the job and therefore the lower back becomes tight in response. If you get the hip flexors back working, then it allows everything else to relax a bit as the load is shared. It's a common problem due to having a 'sit down' job or just sitting down a lot in general! Simply stretching won't help much. |
Pogue - just saw the comment on the injectable slimming drug, I’m starting next week once the docs have a cleared blood sample. Just hoping it ain’t like the cortisone shot in my rear end from last week. |
EML firming and spread not too bad |
![](https://images.advfn.com/static/default-user.png) Life is getting busy for me outside and in work so not posting much. Other shares moving recently I am watching are FXPO. What happened there is the US takeover has started, Trump has even signalled it with his wanting Ukraine to pay for the debt to America with resources. Was always going to happen this is how the US profits from wars they start. Military industrial complex sells the weapons and the others ‘rebuild’; the victim country. Monsanto have been buying farmland and looks like FXPO is going to be taken out now. I had naively hoped that the takeout would be after the war at a slight premium looks like they are not messing about. I suggest watching Blackrock’s holding in FXPO going forward. I am not buying any was close to as the right words re peace were being said but was waiting for Trump’s plan as if it says Ukraine will join NATO at some point the war will not be stopping and will probably escalate can only last a few more months though as Ukraine are desperately short of infantry. It should be noted that Putin will not sign a deal with Zelensky as he is not the elected ruler of Ukraine anymore, his mandate ran out in May, therefore anything he signs can be disregarded at a later point. Also Zelensky has passed a law that forbids talks with Russia so there is a couple of hurdles there. HVO is doing really well bought a company in Germany that expands is offering and allows a lot of cross selling plus has moved into Phase 3 trials for drugs again expanding its offering. Its sales are increasing but there was a dip in challenge study trials sales last year due to companies stopping trials of vaccines due to worries over RFK Jnr which has been proven unfounded as expected unless off course you read the MSM which were painting RFK jnr as a heretic for pointing out Covid vaccines were not tested properly. Turns out this is going to be very good for HVO who test vaccines. DYOR there I hold a lot of those, more than I had recently in fact due to my firm belief the market has no idea what they are looking at. Company with large cash reserves in a growing market that they are the world leaders in by a country mile, but I am biased. PRD I knew he was a liar he suckered me again with his last presentation and I did not sell as I had planned. Becoming a lifestyle company. I gave in and placed a bet on EML about a week ago, I am weak, I am a gambler. Did keep it small though. Now I want to add more though such is the habit. Not good. Re diet which seems a thing just now. I started mine on the 2nd Jan, had a birthday party on the 1st to goto. I have lost 21 lbs so far, I eat dust with a lot of sparkling water and salt to give it flavour and use the cross trainer a bit as well to get the muscles going again. Targeting 35 lbs to get me back to my fighting weight after a long term injury has kept me off the rugby pitch. I know where you are at Bumpa. |
EEE - good to trade spikes (when it works out!). Sold half around 9.5 and now waiting to see how far it drops.... will start adding if it drops to 8.5 - 8.2 range which were previous resistance |
It is one thing after another these days !! And we have Trump in the most powerful seat in the world !! I think I will go for a walk !! 😂 |
I wonder how the likes of Knight Pesold are getting along auditing the environment impact around the Demirli Mine site . I hope it ends up favourable for AAZ and us shareholders. We have already gone through the mangle once !! We don't need anymore problems in the future !! . |
aha, the Phoenix pattern K,,, the mighty mythological bird who rises from the ashes in splendor :-) :-) |
:-) LOL ,,, sounds like you need a bowl of dust DP :-) :-) |
That made me laugh wan. The 3 day rule is a thing that I knew about, forgot, noticed recently and thought I'd invented. What a plonker I am! |
I hear you cmb,,, it's the grey days in the UK I hate,,, there's just so little colour in winter when there's no sun!!! Could be worse though, we could be fighting Russians on our doorstep!!! |
Oh' Bumpa' I wish you well with your health. Health is wealth. ATB. |
I believe a lot of investors use the 3 day news rule DP,,, I know I have,,, basically, don't do anything for 3 days after good or bad news!!! No idea if it's sensible or proven to be of any use, but, it does separate emotion from decision making somewhat :-) :-) Cheers Wan :-) |
Good morning all. Wan' I used to hold Kenmare Resources in heavy mineral sands. Nothing exciting ever happened. There was another one where the dredg sank !! I have forgotten the name !! Well I don't take anymore punts. Makes my life easier just holding on to AAZ. I don't want to play the EEE's and the likes anymore. I am looking forward to my holidays and travel. I must have gypsy genes in my blood. I hate the cold mornings and rainy days. I must suffer with the SAD syndrome!! LOL. Have a good day guys. |
Well, yesterday was very much a net buying day (we'd had quite a few over the last couple of weeks, albeit on small volumes) So we've moved up as the MM's look for the level they can encourage a net selling day
They need you to be generous sellers! :D
Could get tasty as we move towards the production forecast at the end of Q1 |
