:) It’s a fair shout, that even in a year where we had the plant shut for 4 months AISC was c.$1500 but it didn’t stop us losing $30m |
Guys' I have been thinking about the Demirli Mine. People here at times think there could be staff training etc. shortage and will take time. From what I have resurched I don't think there will be a problem regarding staff. A lot of people from Turkey are already working for AAZ. A lot of young people from Azerbaijan go to Turkish Unis to get their mining degrees. I think once the various reports from the likes of Knight Peasold etc are forthcoming things will start to happen at the Demirli Mine site reasonable quickly. Let's see what information the Co. gives in February. All to look forward to. ATB. |
no worries, I just thought it would be good to show the ASIC and how the rising price of gold kinda looks, that's all,,, ie
free stock charts from uk.advfn.com
if (big IF) ASIC stayed at $1510/oz,,,, and gold back in 23 versus what we'll be getting for it now :-)
Cheers Wan :-) |
Ah right, yep, I suspect it’ll worse than that for 24 as a greater proportion of the year was without the plant running (24 vs 23), but of course the staff costs may mitigate that etc. I doubt everyone was on gardening leave from day 1 in ‘23 etc. Whereas it was presumably a phased return to work in ‘24 for the staff etc |
:D No worries, it’ll be a fair shout when we’ve had the plant running for long enough but suspect we won’t get the data to be able to work it out ourselves for 17 months. The co may come up with a figure before then of course. |
aha, ok, apols,,, I see your point :-) :-) doh!
Year ended 31 December 2023 Revenue $ 45.8 m All in sustaining cost (“AISC”) - $ 1,510 oz
back to the morons thread where I belong LOL :-) |
Re 382 & 383 :D |
Foetus in your brain31 Jan '25 - 16:08 - 73381 of 73382 I fear a knock at the door from cmb if I sell any |
Will none of you filthy animals either buy or sell? One thing I can't stand is nothing happening |
Based on what total cost and produced oz figure? And from when? When the plant was shut? It’s possible our AISC for that period is higher than the price of gold was. Not entirely sure though as possible most of the debt would have been spent on setting up the new mine not on production. Anyway, impossible to say for sure til results isn’t it? Can’t think there was enough info in the y/e summary was there? |
just a quick post Mj, to ask if you could put AAZ's All-in sustaining cost (AISC) in the header, so people can see the effect ,,, thanx :-) Cheers Wan :-) |
doing wonders for our c/f ... >$2,800/oz! Wow. |

You've got the power to know
You're indestructible, always believing
You are gold
Glad that you're bound to return
There's something I could have learned

In dispute with $160m deal collaboration partner Stalicla. Stalicla owe them one milestone of $0.5m and another seemingly imminent of $5m... for their joint STP2 project...

Thought this might interest a few of you that might still be holding an, and may explain the recent rise.
Good Luck. I am no longer trading.

I see what you did there. |
$2,800 has fallen |
FTC chugging higherI think next week might be the week the paper gets lit here. At some point they must actually start processing from Gilar surely |
ALK (Planning the UK’s largest lithium refinery) up 29% today as Veolia come onboard.
Still only £12m valuation
"Major refining capacity to be built – The refinery is expected to produce enough lithium hydroxide or lithium carbonate to theoretically supply 100% of the forecasted automotive battery demand in the UK by 2030, with a further 35% of production available for export to Europe and globally." |
$2,800 seems the line in the sand that must be defended at all costs. I'd love to know what is actually happening behind the scenes! I guess it's all very short term just stagger from one weekend to the next, hoping to gad that the lid can be kept on the mess. Given the BoE can't deliver for 6 to 8 weeks, that must cause a huge slump in confidence to those holding metal there. Presumably a huge run on wanting to get one's gold somewhere safe where it won't be gambled away by Saville Row 'suits'? |
With these gold prices, let’s just get this Gilar show on the road! Hopefully no news is good news in terms of any unforeseen issues, but the forecast production start date estimate hasn’t inspired. |
convinced IMM will raise, price action and order book give it away, let alone the fundamentals- but they need more than a couple of mill with their burn rate, so question is when and could it even break higher than 6’s? Trickier to judge than your common or garden ‘lights on’ junk raise. |
Good morning all, Cheers Wan :-) |
ONC - another ouch. |
