Nice chance to buy ALTN today for those who thought it got away from them a little too far.

Healthy flush of the usual 'round' number sellers today with buyers starting to nibble in and take advantage.

Wan I’ve not been checking prices until you said, believe it or not. Sat in the garden, looking at other stocks, heading for shade and drinks occasionally, it’s all good here bar no sea and the stream at the bottom of the garden would keep the ducks happy but not me.

Share prices may be (temporarily) down, but the inherent value continues to increase as gold rises and consolidates..

My locals would be doing a roaring trade in the beer gardens right now, I’d be happy just to have that.

More good news that underpins the company and what its all about.
They can play their mind games with the share price but sooner or later the share price will show its true worth.
Seems the market want to see the hard facts here before they move the share price north.
A little like the main markets, they need to see the true facts before they move them south.
I agree with what posters have said about if you had moved your money from here you could have made better use of it elsewhere. But i don't have a crystal ball.
I have no intention of chasing rainbows. I have done that many times in the past and lost money doing so.
I am getting a good return on my money invested here.Even the ones i have bought over the last week are paying me 5.5% yield.Must be 8-10% with the ones i bought at 46-47p a while back.

Hopefully, and I expect, the JV to be on a suitably advanced project. Nothing too early stage.

Fabulous statement by AAZ. And we know those words aren't empty promises. This management team is of the highest calibre. Even the bashers who sometimes pop up on this thread haven't anything negative to say about Reza and the board.

Looking forward to this upcoming JV news. This could be anything between a bit of cashflow from an asset outside Azer, to a transformational company-maker which takes us above and well beyond 100k GEOs.

Depending on how big the asset is, and in which country, this could really de-risk AAZ and lead to a proper re-rating.

With that news being signposted, I'm surprised traders are selling today. Speaking of which, I see the all-seeing one (seller at 83-86p) has reappeared.

I keep thinking gold will reach a tipping point, perhaps when Wall St realises that the economy really is screwed, and a Big Mac costs $10?

ooops I see a Big Mac meal is already $10 in New York, perhaps it won't be too long now :¬)

i came across an Azer news article from years ago and it said the PSA with Azergold is a straight % of Turnover but, it's all cloaked in secrecy & the main reason why Azerbaijan was ejected from EITI.

The govt willingly gave up any/all data on the PSA's they had with BP and other oil companies and also gave up all data on the AAZ PSA but, they would not give up the details of the arrangement with Azergold & so, despite great progress on all fronts and much higher scores than many other nations in EITI, Azerbaijan was ejected and it left a bad taste with Az govt, judging by their comments.

The Az govt took the view that Azergold was state owned and therefore was not, & should not have to be, subject to same EITI rules as in place for other more 'commercial' agreements that exist across the world in Extractive Industries.

Both sides have valid points, imo .. but, it is what it is & so we simply move on. Zip we can do about it

AAZ is an asset to the government whereas Azergold seems more of a liability. If the State wants income they know they will get it from AAZ, whilst Azergold is humming a different tune.

Don't tell me this is going to end up red for the day, quite absurd.
