Regards the potential placing at AVCT having words saying 'we have plenty of cash to last us' is not going to protect you it will not be the first CV19 company to have said we have enough and then done a placing not long after. Lowering the share price first is dirty however but this company has proven shareholders are not really appreciated at placing time as proven with the last one just before market news propelled it skyward.
I still hold all my AVCT shares never tempted to sell on this drop as I don't know when a big RNS will arrive but its not a company I particularly trust.

Well it’s clear that the market is not too pleased with the co at present - for whatever reason. Let’s try and look on the bright side: what news do we have coming up, either known or potential? Mine extension? Broker note? More info on exploration?

The market price might get marked down but that doesn't negate the actual value here. We seem to be in the midst of Central Banks attempting to push water uphill by printing vast amounts of funny money. It might work for a while, but the sheer reality of what is happening in the real world cannot be denied, the emperor has lost half it's clothes.

Gold is about 30% ahead of where it was a year ago, much of that gain was before the industrial scale money creation began, I suspect that a year from now it will more than 30% above today's level. The market to me seems irrational, but I suppose the bulk of it is driven by persons playing with other peoples money.

Wan - yes TXP is looking v good. I don't know what to expect re: the recorder data. Hope the market takes the next RNS well, but it could sell off short-term as there has been a really strong rise from below 30p to 50p. Long-term I still think £1 to £2 and maybe more is possible.

It's an interesting one wan - when it was being lowered to 123-125p it did look like a potential forward sold placing. It's a really difficult one to read as it is recovering quite well now. It's too hot for my little paws, so I'll just watch it from the sidelines for now.

Well if there is a placing in the offing it's against £10.5 million net cash as at the end of April and this statement:

"In April 2020, the Group announced that it had completed a fundraising of £5.75 million through the placing and subscription of new shares to strengthen the Group balance sheet in the light of the challenges created by the coronavirus pandemic and provide funding through 2020 and 2021, with the receipt of the proceeds received after the General Meeting which was held on 23 April 2020."

"· Following a post-period end £5.75 million fundraising the business remains well capitalised with a £10.5 million net cash position as at the 30 April 2020."

Wan just look at the royalty streamers, they are a good guide to gold funds and I’d say outperforming

Financing talks...looking at all avenues until getting goals to de-risk project while retaining as much as possible for equity holders

biggest risk - financing. FS was the catalyst for this. not much risk to permitting going through...

Shows how much hot money was chasing the stock. Should have sold some at 200p...

Seems inevitable MMs will try to take it down to around the 106p level if no news?
