18/5/2020 08:04 | Good morning all. Wan sell AAZ and then try and buy the amount you hold ? Maybe trade some :0). What if a T/O bid came while you were out !! There are many angles to each investment too. You have to look all around your investments. The other thing is gut feelings and experience, you will get it over time. Just don't overload yourself with too much information either. I did mention a few times that I was not holding any oil and financial stocks. Oil always gets hit in a ression anyway and so do financials. I too make many mistakes in my investments. The thing is I tend to pull the plug on them sharpishly these days. We all know that gold is going to go on a tear anytime. It is just a question of time. Patience is the biggest strength IMO. I just don't allow myself to get stressed about things these days. We are all different and our stress thresholds are also different too :0) Fozzie you can't win them all and can't invest in them all either. May lady luck shines on all of you. Have a good day all. 18/5/2020 07:46 | wan reading your post on looking for a broker I think you need to go on Tinder :0) | pogue
18/5/2020 07:44 | Lols! We just need the balance between buyers and sellers to be tipped a little bit in our favour...it won't take much. Should really be today - as I mentioned recently, at the last AGM Sununu mentioned a POG of $1800 as if it was fanciful. Right now, it feels inevitable, as do prices much higher. As someone on Twitter posted, anyone who has bought gold since 2009 as insurance against central bank largesse isn't going to start selling now. | mad foetus
18/5/2020 07:38 | @mf Yes I’ve certainly always thought of you as quite a large part of a problem :D | jbravo2
18/5/2020 07:26 | Also, WW, seems to me that the MM's are well in control of the AAZ share price and not the market,,,, until I listened to those interviews I would have said, surely that's not how this works,,, but, he clearly stated it is,,,, they mark up/down the price significantly at the slightest weakness or strength in the demand for AAZ shares which can be very off-putting for anyone new to the stock,,, those that understand this and have seen it time and time again can ignore, or take advantage of it in the knowledge that when good news,,, LOM, PSA clarity comes those MM's will re-rate the share price very, very fast and very far to the upside provided the news is deemed worthy of doing so by them :-) LOL,,,,, he also stated how the share price over-reacts to both good and bad news, overshoots on both directions,,,,, now,,, if I had had that knowledge when it last hit 170p I would have sold some and bought more lower on the re-tace,,, but there you go, I'm still learning the ropes here :-) GLA, Cheers Wan :-) | wanobi
18/5/2020 07:26 | Look at the graph of GPM over the last month - gone from 32p to 44p, every day a tick up. That's what the general gold market has done. So, in the absence of news, you'd have expected AAZ to have gone from 128 ish to 176ish. That is how much ground we need to make up and it has to start this week.Something is holding us back: I think it is largely one or more people wanting to top slice (not me), an off putting spread, and a lack of volume. But, if the inertia around the share price can be broken, the possibility for a rerating is huge. I guess I'm part of the problem, because I'm not topping up: AAZ is more than double what the maximum position size of anything in my PF should be. So we need news, new buyers, and a chart that looks close to breakout. Once we get past 170, the next leap will be easy! | mad foetus
18/5/2020 07:18 | Brasso yes we have the gold making machine in the house but how much profit is ORPH getting on it very light on numbers never mind how they are paying for the test equipment. I suspect profit share but who knows? | pogue
18/5/2020 07:16 | We are in for it today the way gold has moved up. Tin hat time, you know the market hates companies that make money these days. | gold finger 1
18/5/2020 07:16 | You're most welcome WW, cheers Wan :-) The main problem/question for me from it,,,, is,,,, how do I find a good broker!? Anyone who has found one is understandably reticent to pass on their details as quite rightly they don't want their prize'd broker relationship diluted by loads of new clients suddenly coming on board.... :-) I'm looking to find one I can build a long term relationship/friends Cheers Wan :-) | wanobi
18/5/2020 07:13 | Nice RNS at ORPH! :) | brasso3
18/5/2020 07:12 | ORPH - that RNS should see its continued rise I would suggest :-) LOL GLA Holders, cheers Wan :-) | wanobi

18/5/2020 07:09 | ALTN - RNS - 18 May 2020 The Company has achieved an important milestone in the extension of its mining contract at Sekisovskoye to 2030. Altyn is pleased to announce that the State Ecological Expertise Agency of Eastern Kazakhstan's region has approved the plan of mining operations and environmental impact assessment (OVOS) of the Sekisovskoye deposit. Specifically, these new permissions regarding environmental emissions and environmental protection measures were granted to Altyn PLC's subsidiary Baurgold LLP for 2020-2029. Following this approval Altyn anticipates a successful review over the coming months of addendum #8 of the subsoil contract #555 for the Sekisovskoye deposit with the Ministry of Investment and Infrastructural Development of Kazakhstan for the extension of its contract until 2030. Cheers Wan :-) | wanobi
18/5/2020 06:55 | Has anyone wondered why the US has reported 90k of the 320k (25%) of the global deaths related to Covid 19? It might be very simple... Hospitals receive $39k for every covid 19 related death that they declare! | brasso3
18/5/2020 06:52 | Great posts over the weekend chaps, especially on the main AAZ thread where people are drilling down on the LOM/PSA etc etc,,,, sure you've all read the posts there, but for any newbies looking in for AAZ, please make sure you read all of them and those posted here :-).... All brilliant research and way better than any analyst could possibly provide... :-) many, many thanx to all, cheers Wan :-) | wanobi
