15/5/2020 13:30 | Fozzie. I was Not insinuating you said that...I.... never thought they were one trick. Their diversity was what encouraged me to invest. Sorry if you took it the wrong way! | macmuck
15/5/2020 13:21 | Spencer Crooks - how aptly named...! | bumpa33
15/5/2020 13:18 | Chumps arriving late at EVG lol | riggerbeautz
15/5/2020 13:17 | doing homework today :-) LOL,,,,. any newbies here please watch these, it will fill in a lot of gaps in your knowledge,,, well it did for me :-) enjoy, cheers Wan :-) Spencer Crooks, ex Director of Market Making at Winterfloods talks to Tamzin Freeman, piworld. Spencer gives us a fascinating insight into the day in the life of a Market Maker. This is the first of two parts. The second part goes into more technical details of market making. Both parts are a must watch, to understand what’s going on behind the scenes to determine how stocks are priced. | wanobi
15/5/2020 13:17 | Yep I’d agree and pretty sure it’s tied into the CEO moving on too. | bumpa33
15/5/2020 13:16 | Cheers Mattjos, this paragraph sticks out a mile... “We weren’t surprised (with hindsight), but as we combed through the technical reports on AAZ’s deposits, we realised that the issue had already been exercising the minds of AAZ’s management, notably the Director of Geology & Mining, Stephen Westhead“ Many that read and visit this board are more than aware of the true value within. People take me as just a blue sky ramper when mentioning a £5 valuation. Being a long term investor I believe when you discover true value you buy, sit on your hands and maybe sell alongside enjoying an attractive divi and capital appreciation. Sitting on your hands for years is the disciplined part and reinforced with keeping your ear to the ground using various sources. | bleepy
15/5/2020 13:16 | Nope I can see profit taking but I suspect they are well down the route to funding and somebody has been accumulating with a reason to it seems. Sticking too for now. | riggerbeautz
15/5/2020 13:06 | I’m gonna stick a bit longer I think on this. Well done if you’ve taken a turn though, glad to be of service :) | bumpa33
15/5/2020 13:00 | for you bleepy: | mattjos
15/5/2020 12:53 | Yes Bumpa, I know when you’re onto something and checked out the vibe, everything stacked up about the stock being tight. Hat tip again sir. | riggerbeautz
15/5/2020 12:51 | MARS and AML have proved cheaper longs this week. Out of EVG at 15.5p. Thanks Bumpa for that one. | brasso3
15/5/2020 12:45 | Well done Rb, nice timing ;) | bumpa33
15/5/2020 12:34 | My thoughts exactly bleepy ! Gedabek surface / open pit is likely just one of many surface expressions of the volcanic activity in the area. Gadir has probably just 'touched' a miniscule part of the wider underground complex that gave rise to Gedabek and many of the other near-surface mineralisations in the locale. Given the number of near-surface targets identified by the ZTEM survey, I fully expect there to be a huge underground network present. Hardmann concluded same in their report & Steve scents it also: "In our opinion, the classification of Gedabek open pit as HS-epithermal, the nearby LS epithermal mineralisation at Gadir and evidence of porphyry are likely to be indicative of a much larger mineral system. The HS/LS-epithermal mineralisation is probably the upper part of a system, which is linked at depth with porphyry mineralisation in a way similar to the illustration by Impact Minerals below (ignore references to its deposits). We weren’t surprised (with hindsight), but as we combed through the technical reports on AAZ’s deposits, we realised that the issue had already been exercising the minds of AAZ’s management, notably the Director of Geology & Mining, Stephen Westhead. The following comment and related diagram from the full resources report for Gadir were left out of the RNS announcement in March 2019. “The discovery of Gadir and it being classified as LS-type, in addition to the other known mineral occurrences and deposits of varying mineral content in the Gedabek Contract Area, lends support to the existence of a large regional mineral-forming system.” | mattjos
15/5/2020 12:15 | Imagine if Gedabek u/g mine shadows the footprint of the open pit complex above, a complex that’s been mined since start of operations some 10yrs+. It will be a bonanza and it’s already exhibited the grades and ore of Gadir. Add the rest of the 1,000ksq estate, it’s recent discoveries and more than promising exploration findings, Aaz are going to be mining for decades. We have one of the best international innovative teams employing upto the minute new ideas and technology, virtually brand new plant that runs at rated capacity, more than keen bod with plenty of skin in the game and shareholder value at the forefront. Appears the mm’s have been loading their book from recent trading clues so expecting a rocket of a rise when the touch-paper is lit. Pog and its march north a huge bonus. | bleepy
15/5/2020 11:56 | Silver coming to the party - final piece of the jigsaw? | podgyted

15/5/2020 11:29 | Don't think I have ever intimated that avct are a 'one trick pony' tbf. | fozzie
15/5/2020 11:27 | Brasso good call on MARS yesterday, surprised me but there was a short term trade on today’s activity, hope you profited from it. | riggerbeautz
15/5/2020 11:23 | Rb - I’ve had to pick my moments getting a fill, there’s been plenty interest from elsewhere and i don’t believe it’s been retail. | bumpa33
15/5/2020 11:20 | well done on avct that is amazing news, the potential there is vast. Wait to see if DDDD can produce amazing news to. Interesting that UK appears to be leading the world in cv19 research into medicines, or am i misunderstanding the news, or is our news biased ? If only we could keep the development and production of these medicines in this country that would give a boost to our economy. | swallowsflysouth
15/5/2020 11:16 | Bumpa your last comment over at EVG very true but that won’t last long if it behaves like today, feels primed, I had a job early morning and again mid 12’s. | riggerbeautz
15/5/2020 11:00 | The Blue circle is the entry to Gadir underground mine .. maybe now folk can understand better why it is taking time to 'hook up' with beneath the Open Pit (off the left). Doesn't seem to matter what you do with Google Earth, how you look at it, it is really hard to convey the scale & size of the Gedabek Contract Area. It is vast area. | mattjos
15/5/2020 10:55 | Oh Fozzie. From the beginning AVCT was about Cancer therapies and much more. Then along came Covid! It was never a "One trick Pony!" | macmuck
15/5/2020 10:51 | Wan, Tobago one of the nicest islands in the Caribbean, so laid back though, really work Caribbean time there. Remember watching my omelette coming out a kitchen and go cold whilst the waitress holding it finished her conversation with a table 10 foot away, you just have to laugh and go with it. There are other islands even more chilled nearby though to be fair. | riggerbeautz
15/5/2020 10:42 | Great pics Matt, makes you realise the scale of operation. | fozzie |
