I am pleased to say I have accumulated a nice position over recent weeks, I note the share price Angel coverage with a 72p target.

My view is as a dividend payer Anglo will bring in new investors, the dividend will be well covered by earnings.

The company is well managed and has a very supporting major shareholder.

Looks very cheap at current levels.

I don’t expect much more info to come that hasn’t already been covered in the RNS but I will listen carefully. For those who purchased these shares at 4.5p, a 2p div is a great return.

(Apols for my absence at the AGM .. came back from overseas trip with too much to get done for potential customers. Got to get the sales while they are on offer.)

44p buy price with a 2p divi is 4.5% yield ... will be a long, long time before you can get that for cash on deposit from the banks & the banks certainly won't be offering capital growth as well as a yield.
Cancellation of Share Premium Reserve is common enough legal exercise.

MM's happy to take any sales and have been moving up the bid to try and encourage some. I assume they are not selling any until the AGM is over. Not exactly making a market though, are they?

Hi all, unfortunately I could not attend today, however if I'm not mistaken a few of the licenses are expiring in 2022. Just around the corner really, any clarification on extensions would be terrific.

May be it's down to the very strong wording in the rns

"Initiatives have proved overwhelmingly successful"

"the Board is now considering a dividend policy and the payment of a maiden dividend to reward our long-standing shareholders as well as attracting new investors"

"The Company also achieved a 26 per cent. increase in year-on-year gold equivalent ounces production in Q1 2018"

Or perhaps something else, wish I had been able to make the agm :-(

Excellent statement in this mornings rns.

Hoping today’s meeting with board members will have more news on 2nd crusher installation, exploration timelines and present production. Also the path being laid for a maiden dividend alongside the confidence aired toward the company’s future bodes well for all.

Let’s not forget Reza has a track record of under reporting and over delivering.

For those guys attending today, any news from the meeting and after chat would be gratefully recieved on this board.

Jeansy,There is none. It was an accounting thing in the past to stop companies issuing shares at a premium and using that to pay dividends. Now most companies laws have changed so that as long as a company is solvent and will remain solvent for the foreseeable future it can pay out any money as divis.

Unfortunately, I am no longer able to attend tomorrow. A couple of points I was going to raise:- any indication on timeline for next resource upgrade?- what are the legal issues that need to be resolved before a divi can be paid?I'm sure the first of these will be widely reported if anything is mentioned. The second is more out if curiosity than concern.I hope it is a worthwhile AGM for those able to attend, I was hoping to meet some of you and put faces to avatars etc.

On May 3rd Bill promoted a good new company presentation when the share price was c42p and the gold price c$1311. This was followed up by final results on May 24 which were quite explicit around the positive performance and outlook and was at a time where the share price had been c 52.5p intra day only a couple of days previous with the gold price at c$1290. There followed the Value the markets piece by Daniel Flynn which was solid promotion on May 24th and the share price Angel flash note on June 21 which emphasised the dividend potential and a buy recommendation with a T P of 72p. We now stand with a share price roughly where it was on May 3rd and with gold c$1250.

Be interesting tomorrow to see what perceptions the company and its advisors have on the drivers behind AAZ's share price over the last month or so and their perceptions on 'fair value'.

It's so hot I can't face going up to London tomorrow. Have a good trip guys and report back in detail. Any sort of exploration and resources update would be well timed, could do with kicking in again, the rest of my portfolio is suffering right now.
