07/8/2017 17:38 | Ps anyone who doesn't believe in the power of charting, go look at the AAZ charts Matt has been posting on here. Recent breakout of that wedge and then a fall back down to kiss the upper line once more and away we go. Very clear formation and breakout | el_duderino_7885
07/8/2017 17:29 | Have to say some serious, consistent buying coming in here. The market is looking forward to the JORC. Woukd be surprised if we didn't test 30p in the next week or so once the director's shares are cleared. Volumes are always a clear sign that there is plenty of interest :). | el_duderino_7885
07/8/2017 17:16 | Unchanged on the day :-) | robo15
07/8/2017 16:36 | not many when the buyer is getting them in 150k chunks like that in the closing auction. My ready-reckoner is about 250k remaining | mattjos
07/8/2017 16:29 | Anyone got a handle on how many of those directors shares are left to sell? | el_duderino_7885
07/8/2017 16:04 | Doesn't matter they're through the system and the price has hardly moved. Strength in the background, bodes well. GLA | wrighty46
07/8/2017 15:59 | It is buys and sells all mixed up I suspect the 2 350k's are sells as the price dropped when they went through if you look at the Google chart. Mind you they could be buys that went through much earlier and were reported late? | puntogt
07/8/2017 15:44 | nice opportunity to buy sub 24p | jbe81
07/8/2017 15:33 | Now I'm baffled :| | jbravo2
07/8/2017 15:27 | I'm assuming it is 350k of the Director Option sales being taken on by a buyer | mattjos
07/8/2017 15:20 | Chunky trade gone through. Is it sell or buy ? | puntogt
07/8/2017 15:17 | Still 24.15 to buy 50000....very mysterious. | basem1
07/8/2017 15:10 | Well that's a big ol' number. And not immediately apparent if it's a buy or sell. Either a sell will become apparent in a while to account for the drop at 14:15ish and to explain the 350k supply at under 25p, or it is a sell and was being worked from 14:15. If its that latter option its not much of a drop for 350k shares. In which case one might expect them to be snaffled again at the end of the day. | jbravo2
07/8/2017 14:40 | Some sellers ?? Been qouted 24.15 for 50000 buy now | basem1
07/8/2017 12:26 | Cel, I agree it's very very cheap, I'm not familiar with the integrity of the company officers, but do not have any concerns in that area since they appear very able and are making things happen on the ground, it's simply where the asset is located. I'm not sure who coined the word 'kleptostan', but it fits certain parts of the world quite well. I wish holders of AAZ very well and, all who sail in her. TERROPOL, too right on both counts, but manners required a response to Celeritas who mentioned myself in another place. It is mouth-wateringly cheap, it is very tempting, and once substantial free profits start to flow it will likely become very interesting to those in power. | lefrene
07/8/2017 11:58 | Lef, solg just reminds me how very very cheap aaz is. The CEO (RV) has shown nothing but the highest integrity for all the years I've been aware of AAZ. | celeritas
07/8/2017 11:02 | LEFRENE, you are not forced to invest in AAZ nor are you forced to post on this BB. I can only tell you that both the Chairman and the President of the company are proper and fit people. I do not think for 1 minute that they would do underhand deals undermining the share holders. Yes The President will do very well, but that is due to his 30% holding. Some of us will do very well also, reflected by the % of our holding. | terropol
07/8/2017 10:38 | Other useful Odds and Sods... * Further exploration in the main Gedabek open pit mine underway with 61 RC and two core drill-holes completed * The resumption of full production from the main open pit in Q1 2018 will further enhance the ability of the Company to increase production and give it additional flexibility in processing. * Surface core drilling targeted to intersect the down dip extension of Gadir mineralisation comprised six drill-holes with a total of 2,640 metres of drilling. These drill holes intersected Gadir style mineralisation and confirm the extended resource potential. * Gedabek Deep Mineralisation Study Tunnelling from the Gadir underground mine to the down dip extension of the Gedabek open pit mineralisation has commenced. 215 metres of the planned 465 metres have been completed to date. It is expected that the tunnel will be completed by the end of August/early September 2017. This will allow the Company to assess the extent of the higher-grade gold mineralisation below the Gedabek open pit as found in exploration drill holes. The future project plan is to construct a tunnel following the mineralisation under the Gedabek open pit and to carry out underground fan drilling to assess the future underground mining potential. This work will also provide geotechnical data for assessing the rock characteristics for underground stability that would be used in mine design work. Data collected will be utilised to evaluate the future open pit to underground transition. The fan drilling work is planned for 2018. | bleepy
06/8/2017 22:16 | jbravo2, The persons described sound about par for the course (Life President eh!), I'm sure that they will do very well indeed. | lefrene
06/8/2017 20:04 | thanks mattjos | jeanesy
06/8/2017 18:10 | Jeansey .. see post 8155, screen shot of L2.If folk saw that on a SETS stock they'd say the order book looked terrible but, for this stock, we've had sells hilited in this way during an auction & I believe it shows how the director's options stock is being made available to the market ... in 20k blocks inexorably higher towards 30p. It's a clear message to the buyer, imo | mattjos
06/8/2017 17:28 | Back from my hols to see things ticking along nicely here! Looks like this is starting to find other people's radar and hence the rise . Good to see some selling as well . I will hope to buy a few more if the price is right as although i did time my purchase well i only hold about half what i did before.. i am obviously regretting that decision , but a profit was a profit and there maybe time to buy some more ? Thanks for the update header Mattjos, there is plenty of news to come and it will save PI's wanting to invest here having to wade through the posts to find what is due when. Excuse my ignorance please but what did you mean about the comment last week about L2 being so unusual for this stock ? | jeanesy
06/8/2017 14:49 | That's ok with me bravo .. we don't want the herd here for another 6 months yet. The H1 18 update will have them all over this but, 'tween now & then, best off radar I think :-) | mattjos
06/8/2017 14:07 | There we go. In one post we see why we're priced so low.(At least partly) Lefrene, the relationship between the president of Azerbaijan and our CEO Reza Vaziri (life president of USA/Azerbaijan chamber of commerce etc) and John Sununu (board member, ex US Governor, Chief of Staff etc) is the key reason it's different here. I urge you to do a little research. You won't regret it. | jbravo2
06/8/2017 13:44 | Celeritas, re your comment to me on Moni, no I haven't. Mouth watering as this looks it is unfortunately operating in a kleptostan, I'm mindful of what is happening to ACA in Tanzania, and personally see little difference between African states and the various 'Stans' East of Europe. By any normal measure this is stunningly cheap, sadly it's not located in a 'normal' place. I do wish holders every success though and trust that profits really do feed through to the shareholders. For exposure to valuable metals I'm happier with Solg. | lefrene |
