The recent release was as expected, there is plenty of resource in the area, it just needs to be drilled to confirm the russian data, there are plenty of drill sites without needing to go outside the russian exploration, modern techniques can also find many new sites to prospect, we will not run out of ores in my lifetime, If you look northwest 150 kms just over the border in Georgia we are on the same system and identical geology they are having the same results using russian data, in the Kvemo Bolnisi area the russian data is being used to find oxide, sulphide and copper deposits up to 40% pure copper, the Madleuni mine is very similar to the aaz prospect and that region is host to multiple orebodies that you just have to dig around to find.

Looks set for a big rise.

Once the dollar rests it could easily break critical drop back down to 84/85. Commodities in general are going to do very well in the next 6 months.

Yep it's defo due a pause at the very least if not a bounce. I'll be watching the dollar/yen very closely. It finally broke strong support at 112 today. Should be headed back to 109 at the very least.

This is the most critical month for gold in years and that's isn't can exaggeration.

We could be off to the races. Very close to breaking out of the downtrend going back to 2011!

Fed sounding increasingly like they will soon have to admit the consumer is tapped out. Working like the clappers but, still taking on more debt then ever & less and less to spend on trinkets & baubles.They'll be forced soon to fiddling with the make up of goods used to determine inflation in the hope of getting it going.Nothing in that statement that looks like it will perk the $ up just now. Soon folk will realise their new PCP cars will soon all be junk and they have to now go buy another one, with electric power this time.Ugly looking Autumn beckons, imo .... Gold & Copper should both do well in current climate though .. the electric car genie is never going back in the bottle now. Electric cable manufacturers are going to have a stunning two decades

Article as follows:Baku, Azerbaijan, July 26By Azad Hasanli – Trend:Wolf Corporation will carry out reconstruction and restoration work at the Chovdar ore field in Azerbaijan, a tender commission said July 26.The company signed a relevant contract worth almost 42,000 Azerbaijani manats with AzerGold CJSC.AzerGold was established by the Feb. 11, 2015 decree of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and is engaged in study, exploration, development and management of gold and iron-ore sites, such as Garadagh, Chovdar, Goydag, Dagkasaman, the Kohnamadan deposit and the Kurakchay area.The Chovdar field is located in northern part of Azerbaijan's Dashkasan District. Ore reserves in its central part amount to about 15-20 million tons.

Conclusion: The Company is on course to launch production at Ugur by the end of the year sourcing oxide easily leachable ores for treatment at Gedabek processing facilities. It all good news and we are looking forward to the JORC statement that is in final stages and is due next quarter.

Unless anyone knows different, neither share price Angel or Beaufort appear to have updated their coverage since the Ugur update.

Beaufort last note was Speculative Buy, Apr 2016
SP Angel was Buy with TP of 22p, Jan 2017

Given the Debt reduction since Jan this year and the Ugur developments, you would have thought one of them would have pulled their finger out.

Beaufort is a waste of space really as they rate virtually 99% of AIM stocks as speculative Buy so, safe to ignore them but, share price Angel should be doing much, much better for the company.

Holidays I suppose .. they will likely upgrade end September by which time we'll be mining from Ugur & his coverage will once again be behind the curve

Do suggest those of you with a decent holding & looking to hold for the long term make full use of your annual cap gains allowances and the Bed & ISA option.
Very easy option to do with TDW and the switch transaction is usually carried out virtually at the Bid price.

Not forgetting $2ml annual saving from electrification, significant stockpile of high grade gold and copper rich ore, upgrade to water treatment/tailings resulting in savings and metals recovery, debt reduction, manat devaluation.

The constitutional documents reveal the substantial potential of the explored prospects within the huge Gedabek acreage whilst stating that much is still unexplored , Ugur being one such prospect.

AAZ's team headed by Riza are the best in the business with recently added Stephen Westhead complimenting them.

Anglo Asian CEO, Reza Vaziri, said "Anglo Asian will have progressed from making our first exploratory drill-hole of the Ugur deposit to producing ore from an open pit mine in little over one year. This is a testament to the speed at which the Company can react when presented with value accretive opportunities.



"Production flexibility, expansion and opportunity are resulting from the development of the Ugur gold deposit together with the exploration and optimisation of other deposits in the Gedabek contract area. The resultant production profile will allow a timeframe for expanded exploration and evaluation of other mineralisation indicators for future growth."



Anglo Asian Group Director of Geology & Mining, Stephen Westhead, said "The Ugur deposit clearly demonstrates Anglo Asian's ability to rapidly progress projects from exploration to reserves and, if viable, into production. The first Ugur drill hole was completed in September 2016 and we are planning to commence mining in Q4 2017. Our geology and mining team has maximised the opportunity of very good exploration potential of possible ore deposits close to the Company's existing extraction and processing facilities.
