I don't think we'll be seeing a holding RNS at all even with another couple of weeks of buying.

I think the buying will be in several names and won't require one. ;)

Decent volume the last few days, does look like a reasonable stake is being built up, I would expect a holding rns out if if we have another week of buying like this, 3 million + shares will take a while to accumulate, I would imagine a small hedge fund or junior mining fund, unfortunately this is still waaay too small at the moment to be on anyone other than small private investors radar

Casabella, yes there is a JORC statement due imminently on the new Ugur resource.One step at a time chaps. 25p is always a time for a small pause in an uptrend & we've had a couple of great weeks ... they'll be a few who cashed in for beer & skittles at the weekend, today.Gold still pausing on the top of the wedge el_d ... plenty going on in the word to give it fresh impetus

I'm not sure that I know what is going on jbravo and I read this board regularly. You have been alluding to something but I can only guess... No matter, the value here is excellent at these prices and it will out sooner or later.

All those shares sold snaffled up after hours. :D

Next week might be big... or might not.

If the sellers are still around the buyer will clearly wait for them to come to him.
If they have to move it up because of the general market buying or because the sellers dry up it could move very quickly.

I wonder what proportion of holders read something like this board?
Plenty will just see the price move up to their target and get out.

I still don't see gold collapsing. Payrolls day is always gamed and I'm sure the commercials took this opportunity to cover a huge amount of shorts today. The CoT will be outrageously bullish.

Bullion coin also being launched next week which could be interesting.

Like you say none of this short term noise really matters to AAZ but it's bloody frustrating when you follow the charts closely and know how important these technical levels are right now.

I tend not to focus on gold much these days, you certainly don't buy on daily weekly moves. Yearly averages are really what matter. Over 1200 for 2017 will do very nicely.

I moved my targets up a bit based on the fact there is probably close to 750 an oz cashflow at the mom and production will be at decent levels for a good while after all the loans are repaid, its hard to see how we dont end up a good bit higher in the medium term, selling a chunk now may not be easy to reload at lower levels like it has been easy to in the past ...

Oh just done some basic maths with the new copper and silver prices.
Q1 concentrate = $4.4m
Q2 concentrate = $6.1m

Assuming level production from Q2 and flat prices from now til Q end
Q3 concentrate = $7.4m

Not bad for a side line

There seems to be no reason to sell anything at the moment now the bulk of the new supply has gone.
My money is on it being catsick. He said he'd let a few go under 30p. How about it catsick? You puking? ;)
No I'm not selling til whatever is unfolding in Azerbaijan, unfolds. If I'm guessing wrong on all that then it reverts to a base case for the mine.


If anyone can point out any reason why the share price will be lower than now when they announce the new resource/reserve I'm happy to hear it.
I guess the only possible reason can be people doubting the size of the reserve.

As has been discussed widely there will be lots of mineralisation in and around Gedabek so even if its not multi million ounce now (and it won't be) it doesn't matter. If you think Ugur and Bittibulag are going to be the only bits in our license you need your head read. Qaradag starts right off where Gedabek finishes to the north. Guess who owns that?
The whole area is full of stuff.
And then you think, so whats the chance I'll get screwed by a share issue like everyone else on AIM. Answer here? Near zero. Its never going to happen with the CEO owning 30%, and the board another 20%.
Then you look a the revenue of $80m.
Then you look at the big loan finishing in just one year.
Then you add up the value of the plant.
Then you consider how we're connected to the powers that be.
Then you think who's been buying all these shares the last year.
Then you look at our current mkt cap.
Then you consider what it should be.

Flip the list just goes on.

I hope mrhockey realises the quickest way to get all of his money back is here. Not by staying for more water in pvr

I'd be surprised ... he knows that is a daft price to sell at.

Looks more likely to be the rump end of the Director sales being dribbled into the market & the sellers(s) is indicating where he is willing to offer them.
