Anglo American forced to cut De Beers’ Expenses by $100 Million

Anglo American will be forced to slash De Beers’ overhead costs in response to the diamond-market downturn, the parent company has warned.

The current downturn maybe temporary, but there are few signs that the market is “beginning to turn.”

De Beers incurred a loss in the second half of 2023 following sales of just $80 million.

Unfortunately De Beers kept production steady in the second half of this year — leading to an inventory buildup.

Anglo won't fall to that amount, lowest I can remember is around 1450p pre covid.

about 1350 is a good chart support area as probably worst case scenario. But nothing goes down in a straight line and will be nice bounces on the way :)

At the moment sentiment is against AAL therefore higher likelihood the share price has further to fall. then to rise.
