honestmarty,

I think, due to the track record thus far, folk have been very cautious about the Djeno. I would also echo we have a great opportunity with the Djeno. If oil is present, it will be high pressure and we are potentially looking at 2,500-5,000bopd from an onshore well - the production facilities already exist. Lots of work and proving to do, but it shows what's on offer is potentially transformational for the company.

Excited here at likely events.
R1/R2 we know we will get hydrocarbons, that RNS will lift the share price by how much?
Mengo, again we know we will get hydrocarbons, how much will that add?

Then we have Djeno, the Beast,

looking closely at the quoted 25% risk.

That relates to oil production, which is complex , as neighbours produce from a gascharged thin oil rim, Technically challenging.

But, before that

I believe that the likelihood of us getting an RNS confirming hydrocarbons in Djeno is much, much higher 25%.

Actually getting production would come later.

So 3 hydrocarbon shows RNS releases, including the Beast and probably the license news, anyone guesses on the share price, 40p, 60p,,, £1 ?..

Any one?

luckykids - a bigger drill head, normally called a "bit" or "drill bit" by the way, doesn't necessarily mean faster drilling. If anything it might be slower, as you are removing more rock which all has to be circulated out of the well to the surface. Too many rock cuttings in the well adds to the weight of the mud colummn, potentially causing losses into any thief zone - and we don't want THAT again (wonder if that's what happened last time???).

But anyway, unless I missed something, most of this well will be drilled to the same size as previously planned. They are now setting 20" casing, and the next section will be 17-1/2" which I think is the same as before.

Excellent news, questionable as to whether the price sensitive information should be popped on twitter before an RNSCould see a spike up in the morning to get back to where we sat before the delays

Excellent news, they really seem to mean business.

The update on the new license sounded very positive without stealing the Minister's thunder on the actual announcement.

Plenty to look forward to with a base price expectation of 40p.

Very small number of shares in retail hands, has all the ingredients of a multibagger from this price point.

Not an oil tech. But the company stuck to the same time frame as the previous aborted well. Was that being conservative, because I thought they were drilling with a much bigger drill head.

Shouldn't it be quicker?

What's all the fuss about?
We are barely back to the price before the drilling problem.

Given the clear progress in the resited well 103c, wait until the first oil shows RNS, that's when the real excitement will kick in.
