Companies rationalise all the time, pastures new. The oil companies moving out of the NS have obviously gone somewhere the resources/reserves are big enough to move the dial for them. Same has happened in every mature basin. For AAOG, just the first and second zones will move the dial for them if they are able to produce them with success.

you're right... that was an old press release from 2014 announcing their Lidongo well exceeded expectations,... thought it was new, but it seems you are right and that they exited congo ! I thought they were also in DRC but they left because of the gorilla reserves...
why did they leave Congo with such a good well ? Is AAOG at risk if they find lots of oil too ? have they been kicked out ?

R1/R2 will not get 750 bopd, 200 - 250 at best.
The next target is the Mengo Horizon which could provide 700 -800 reducing to 500 bopd. The deeper Djeno could be upto 5000 bopd.

Soco just announced their discovery,... better than expected ! We're around the corner. Even the R1/R2 should get us a minimum of 750bopd, imagine 1,000bopd !How much do they need to be profitable ? 300? 500?

just checking at 200bopd and $50 barrel they might get a valuation of $30M. so there should be an uplift in the share price even from the more probable horizons

Its the co's partners who are the main risk here imo.

Money4me,7.9mln bbls P90 reserves in the R1/R2. Only a small amount of this has been tapped. Aslong as they complete the well adequately, can't see why they wouldn't test at good economic flowrates.Having said that, if the Mengo and (fingers crossed) the Djeno are successful in this well, R1/R2 will have to take a backseat.Allowing for left field type surprises, I am of the opinion they will make good at least one of the 3 (potentially 4) target horizons in this well.Cash

it would be good to get some positive news ASAP from the drill to get the share price into life. otherwise we really are tied in until the end. all or nothing.does this company have much value from R1 / R2 coming in?
