Safely traversed thief zone.
Hydrocarbon shows in R1/R2
Hydrocarbon shows in Mengo
Hydrocarbon shows in Djeno
Decision to drill Vanji
Renewal of license
Plans for new assets

All of the above are possible in the next 2 months

The multi target action for the drillbit, makes the risk worth taking.
BoD options are also at 20p so they will certainly be convinced that success is just around the corner.

When Mengo is hit you will hear the LION start its majestic roar from the Congo.

Great news is approaching, IMO.
But everything has risks involved.

You have to be 'in it to win it' as they say.
I reckon the herd will arrive at the end of next week.

Interesting to read an industry insider's view of the risks of drilling. Serious points. But for me I am here for the drillbit because the multi-zone targets hold such a potential reward. I accept the risk. Hopefully knowingly! If you are going to risk on the drillbit then this sort of drill is the best type. If you dont wajt to take that risk then this is not for you.GLA

allotment, where did you find the IOGT stuff ? Their website disappeared.

All is to find :

Who is this chairman ? It seems that he rules by the conflict ! And get rid of whoever is not on his side... So there is more than the Geology in this small co,...

Worth digging further,... does not look like so clean !!! did the NOMAD do a real DD ? would you normally appoint as chairman someone who just delist a company in distress who lost millions to shareholders ?

Was he a friend of the old CEO ?

Every day drilling then some days to pause for casing.
It is not rocket science.

That shoe is holding tightly. Experts are on hand.
No mistakes this time. Is JB still on site?

Management options are at 20p.
Even during market mayhem week, the potential is not reflected in this share price yet.

With high risks come big rewards.
It is worth the punt, IMO.
Exciting times ahead.

R1/R2 and then Mengo with Djeno the prize.
Not long to wait.
DS is back in the UK, it must be time for some more interviews.
Keep sending the pictures, tweet tweet.

As advised in February post.....never let a private equity lawyer near an AIM oil company ....sigh

I hope you did your due diligence on the chair and some of the board who wiped out International Oil and Gas technologies Ltd to zero and had to delist.

The same appears to be happening here.

Sep800 was in a country where it was impossible to post on forums and frankly did not have the time. I work in remote locations and I spent years on various sites.
Honestly, most of the people posting have absolutely no clue and with the management misleading them, no chance to know what’s going on.
Not deramping, just telling it as it is. Maurel believed in Tilapia but not the way they plan.
Again, not deramping, I lost enough... but worried. Way to high on my risk/reward scale !

Markter... I see you join us in July 2018 and the share price was well blow 19p
If you had bought last year why post now since July this year ?
Other than to de-ramp as usual with a new ticker. I see your profile as a new punter or take anything you say with a pitch of salt and a shorter.
This has risk but not as much as your blabbering about.

Ap Findley, the conductors do not go all the way to the subsidence zone which is past 250m. It’s not like a cave but just some unconsolidated sands which are well known in this region in Congo.
If you ask Maurel (past operators), all the Wells drilled on Tilapia encountered this zone and despite what I read, this was NOT unexpected.
The 201 well which has never produced (I asked Maurel but they never said why, maybe Aaog knows) had the very same problem and saw ground movement when drilled through the exact same zone. They had to respud. Same same.
Now, going closer to the water line (sea) makes me think that this is even riskier than previous location.
It really feels like they are not properly advised.

My 2c,... most people will ignore this ! I sold at loss (massive loss) below 10p, from close to 19p purchase.
I can only see this one as very risky. If the R1 doesn’t produce, this company is dead !

The drilling wasn't a failure, it hit what they have termed as a thief zone. From our perspective I take that as a pocket or cavern of empty space or similar. They stated, It caused the drill rig to move 50cm, which is a lot. As you mention the risk worries you, then I think it unlikely that situation will be repeated due to the increased conductor depth, and the relocation. Also, the risk of not finding oil is minimal to near zero. The oil is there in the upper zones, it does flow from the formation at other locations, so no reason why it won't from here too. The lower zones are being targeted as they are present and flow elsewhere, so its hoped they do extend and will flow and remain commercially viable into the AAOG license area too. Not much else to really say until the drillbit does the talking

BobbyWhat are the facts we were drilling over a month ago and for some reason the rig moved out of place.I can understand investors being cautious.

Good luck Wan.

The only thing that changes AAOG is oil strikes as they go down. Do that and the price will rise. Fail and it will fall.

Hi all, sold my 50K shares this morning at a small loss, with the help of some great investors on my thread I decided not to take the risk with my cash that the drill might fail yet again.... I wish you all the best with it and will not be at all disappointed to see AAOG succeed and treble in value etc... I mean that,,,,,, for me the degree of risk here, upon reflection,,,, is just not for me, thanks.

Good Luck
Cheers
Wan

I think your assessment is fairly accurate. There isn't too much investor confidence due to previous failings. If and it is if they manage to successfully get the drill to oil then this could seem very undervalued. Let's hope the 'ifs' become reality. GLA
